Abstract
The
basic
helix–loop–helix
(bHLH)
IVc
transcription
factors
(TFs)
play
central
roles
in
controlling
iron
(Fe)
homeostasis
and
biotic
stress
responses.
However,
their
evolutions
functions
other
abiotic
stresses
are
poorly
understood.
In
this
study,
the
IAA
‐
LEUCINE
RESISTANT3
(
ILR3
)
homologs
were
traced
roughly
back
to
before
early
origin
of
land
plants
divided
into
six
main
clades
(Clade
A‐F).
Further
analysis
found
that
orthologs
angiosperm‐specific,
suffering
from
motif‐acquisition
events
loose
purifying
selection.
Synteny
displayed
whole
genome
duplications
(WGDs)
contributed
establishment
IRON
DEFICIENCY
TOLERANT1
IDT1
,
also
called
bHLH34
)/
bHLH104
lineage
prior
divergence
angiosperms.
Sequence
revealed
had
some
novel
conserved
motifs
except
bHLH
leucine
zipper
(ZIP)
domains.
Particularly,
Arabidopsis
thaliana
AtILR3
was
a
nuclear
protein
greatly
activated
by
ABA
CdCl
2
stresses.
Simultaneously,
molecular
genetic
analyses
suggested
acted
as
positive
regulator
response
through
enhancing
ability
reactive
oxygen
species
(ROS)‐scavenging,
such
activities
superoxide
dismutase
(SOD),
peroxidase
(POD),
catalase
(CAT).
inductively
coupled
plasma
mass
spectrometry
(ICP‐MS)
exhibited
affected
absorption
nutrient
elements,
especially
under
stress.

findings

Cadmium

for

week
on

days
after
application.
Pea
as
an
excluder
accumulated
mainly
roots.
