Among stresses, drought stress factors reducing cultivated areas Resistant cultivar basic strategies to overcome problems caused by stress. This experiment was carried out order identify determine tolerant native bread genotypes Khorasan Razavi province Iran country stress, research farm Department Agronomy Plant Breeding Campus Agriculture Natural Resources, University Tehran 1400-1399. In experiment, 105 populations with 4 controls two environments: normal were studied using augmented design. The traits evaluated included phenological, morphological, components. results showed reduced traits, including (21.87%), biological (24.39%), thousand-seed weigh (8.64%). Phenotypic correlation, regression path analysis, grain filling period, yield, harvest index, thousand weight, number per spike, weight spike increased under Stem had a negative relationship yield. Drought is a threat to food security and agricultural sustainability in arid semi-arid countries. Using wasted silica nanoparticles could minimize water scarcity. A controlled study investigated wheat plant physiological morphological growth under tap-water irrigation (80-100, 60-80, 40-60% field capacity). The benefits of S1: 0%, S2: 5%, S3: 10% nanoparticle soil additions were studied. Our research reveals that stress damages the functional plants. Plant height decreased by 8.9%, grain yield 5.4%, biological 19.2%. These effects observed when plants irrigated capacity

Introduction Osmotic stress can significantly affect the survival and functioning of living organisms, particularly during vulnerable stages such as seed germination seedling growth. To address this issue, advanced technologies like nanofertilizers have been developed to improve soil conditions enhance plant growth in stressed ecosystems due their multiple effects efficient consumption. Methods The objective study was investigate impact potassium nano-silicate (PNS) on physiological characteristics maize seedlings under various levels osmotic induced by polyethylene glycol (PEG). considered two factors: PNS concentration (500 1000 ppm) PEG-6000 solution with different (-2, -4, -6, -8 bars). Results discussion results demonstrated that application at a ppm led increased radicle length hypocotyl well fresh weight seedlings. Furthermore, had more beneficial effect rate compared 500 ppm. Additionally, resulted an increase parameters, including protein content, chlorophyll a, b, total proline activity catalase (CAT) ascorbate peroxidase (AXPO) enzymes. These findings indicate use positive conditions. Overall, technology has potential crop yield ecosystems. By improving function plants stages, growth, contribute resilient agricultural practices promote sustainable food production challenging environments.

Waterlogging stress poses a significant threat to eggplants (Solanum melongena L.), causing root oxygen deficiency and subsequent plant damage. This study aims explore the morphological changes chlorophyll lignin indicators of eggplant seedlings under different time points (0, 3, 6, 12, 24, 48 h) waterlogging stress. High-throughput sequencing was used identify differentially expressed miRNAs mRNAs in response eggplants. The results showed that content significantly decreased during early stage stress, while degradation b intensified with prolonged carotenoid remained relatively stable. Additionally, this investigated lignin, indicating its role enhancing cell wall stability tolerance cope hypoxic Using DESeq2, 246 were identified, among which observed miR156, miR166, miR167, miR399 families. These may play crucial regulatory eggplant’s adaptation environment after Gene Ontology (GO) Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) analyses revealed genes mainly related cellular physiological processes, metabolic biosynthesis secondary metabolites, influencing seedlings’ resistance conditions. Furthermore, by constructing miRNA–target gene network pertains we have laid foundation for revealing molecular mechanisms

Soil degradation is a global problem and refers to the reduction or loss of biological economic productive capacity soil resource. In Europe, countries most affected by are undoubtedly those Mediterranean basin. Among these, Italy shows clear signs degradation, with different characteristics, especially in southern regions, where climatic meteorological conditions strongly contribute it. Apulia, Tavoliere plain particular, fragile very sensitive ecosystem due its intrinsic characteristics level anthropic exploitation. Agricultural production pays highest price, as increasing desertification climate change agricultural land severely limit extent available produce food for an ever-growing population. Plant growth-promoting bacteria (PGPB) could be low-cost long-term solution restore fertility, they provide wide range benefits agriculture, including crop productivity, improving nutrient levels inhibiting growth pathogens. This review how PGPB can used improve quality soils, their impact on tolerance abiotic stresses (drought, salinity, heavy metals organic pollutants) feasibility. Solanum tuberosum is one of the most widely cropped plant species worldwide; unfortunately, drought major constraints on potato productivity because it affects physiology, biochemical processes, and yield. The use arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) has exhibited beneficial effects plants during drought. objective this study was to analyse effect AMF inoculation two genotypes exposed water stress, photosynthetic traits, enzymatic antioxidant activity, exudation low-molecular-weight organic acids (LMWOAs) inoculated with strains AMF, Claroideoglomus claroideum (CC) lamellosum (HMC26), were evaluated. Stomatal conductance a similar trend in CC HMC26 treatments for both genotypes; moreover, rate significantly increased by 577.9% between 100% soil humidity (S0) 40% (S2) stress levels VR808 genotype under treatment. activities enzymes catalase (CAT) ascorbate peroxidase (APX) showed trends. In study, there different responses among treatments. Inoculation S2 promising potential approach improving growth conditions.
