White clover (Trifolium repens L.) is cultivated worldwide as a forage crop, green manure, and turfgrass, valued for its adaptability broad distribution. Although numerous studies have investigated the adverse effects of drought stress on white growth yield, comprehensive bibliometric review has been lacking. To address this gap, we analyzed relevant publications from Web Science Core Collection (1990–2024) using VOSviewer (1.6.19.0) R (4.3.1) software. Our findings reveal consistent annual increase in research outputs, indicating sustained scholarly efforts to enhance clover’s tolerance. China, New Zealand, Australia, United States, France lead publication volume maintain active international collaborations. Keyword co-occurrence analysis underscores importance phenotypic, physiological, molecular mechanisms linked resistance, particularly regarding plant yield. Emerging directions include further exploration transgenic technologies pathways bolster resilience under water-limited conditions. Overall, these insights offer theoretical foundation future provide valuable reference advancing sustainable agricultural practices arid semi-arid environments.

With global climate change leading to increasing intensity and frequency of droughts, as well the growing problem soil salinization, these factors significantly affect crop growth, yield, resilience adversity. Oats are a cereal widely grown in temperate regions rich nutritive value; however, scientific literature on response oat drought salt stress has not yet been analyzed detail. This study comprehensively using data from Web Science core database bibliometric methods with R (version4.3.1), VOSviewer (version 1.6.19), Citespace (version6.3.1.0) software. The number publications shows an trend over past 30 years. In field drought-stress research, China, United States, Canada lead terms publication, most academic achievements being China Agricultural University Canadian Food University. journal highest published papers is Field Crops Research. This study subjected seeds to calcium salt (0–100 mM), drought (0–0.53 MPa), pH (pH 3–9). Germination indicators (germination rate, potential, index, vigor index), seedling morphological (shoot length root length), biomass were measured assess seed resistance. The results showed that mild (5% PEG solution) weak alkaline 8) promoted germination, 20 mM CaCl 2 solution significantly increased rate. system seedlings was more sensitive three types stress. Under moderate (40 only slight decrease tissue water content observed. (10% PEG), fresh weight decreased, but dry increased. 9), both provides theoretical reference for selecting plants suitable cultivation environments.

Brassinosteroid (BR) signaling is regulated by BRI1-EMS SUPPRESSOR 1 (BES1) transcription factors, which are crucial for plant growth, development, and stress responses. Despite their importance, BES1 gene studies in Medicago sativa L. limited, hindering our understanding of the BR this species. This study identified four genes M. sativa; characterized properties, conserved motifs, cis-regulatory elements, chromosomal location; explored functions development A phylogenetic analysis grouped these into two subfamilies. Transcript profiling showed widespread tissue-specific expression patterns. qRT-PCR unveiled that most MsBESI were upregulated under salt drought treatments, except MsG0280009980, was suppressed. research lays groundwork enhancing resistance family’s function.
