Abstract
Lettuce
(
Lactuca
sativa
L.),
a
widely
cultivated
leafy
green,
is
valued
for
its
rich
content
of
bioactive
compounds,
including
folates,
vitamins,
tocopherols,
ascorbic
acid,
and
antioxidants.
This
study
aimed
to
evaluate
the
effects
amino
acid
supplementation
on
growth
nutrient
hydroponically
grown
lettuce.
A
greenhouse
experiment
using
completely
randomized
design
(CRD)
was
conducted,
with
three
replications
plants
per
replication.
There
were
4
treatments
(T
0
(Control),
T
1
(Methionine
20
mg/L),
2
(Tryptophan
220
mg/L,
3
(Glycine
200
mg/L)

Growth
parameters,
biomass,
leaf
length,
width,

after

L-methionine

Nutrient
analysis
revealed
that
treatments,

methionine,
enhanced
nitrogen,
phosphorus,

tissues.
These
results
suggest
has
positive
effect
both
uptake
hydroponic
lettuce,
while
L-glycine
negatively
affect
development.
The
differential
responses
may
be
attributed
their
distinct
roles
metabolism,
methionine
enhancing
sulfur-containing
compounds
proteins
essential
tryptophan
glycine
could
disrupt
metabolic
pathways.
Future
research
should
explore
mechanisms
underlying
these
optimal
concentrations
maximizing
lettuce
production
density.

Introduction
Wheat
leaf
rust
is
one
of
the
most
significant
diseases
affecting
wheat.
With
increase
global
average
temperature,
areas
where
wheat
can
survive
winter
and
persist
through
summer
have
been
expanding.

high-temperature
resistant
isolates
were
identified
within
natural
population.
Methods

study,
two
strains

Shanxi
Province

Background/Objectives:
Long
non-coding
RNAs
(lncRNAs)
play
a
crucial
regulatory
role
in
plant
trait
expression
and
disease
management,
making
their
accurate
prediction
key
research
focus
for
guiding
biological
experiments.
While
extensive
studies
have
been
conducted
on
animals
humans,
lncRNA
remains
relatively
limited
due
to
various
challenges,
such
as
data
scarcity
genomic
complexity.
This
study
aims
bridge
this
gap
by
developing
an
effective
computational
method
predicting
lncRNAs,
specifically
classifying
transcribed
RNA
sequences
lncRNAs
or
mRNAs
using
multi-feature
analysis.
Methods:
We
propose
the
multi-feature-fusion
ensemble
learning
(LMFE)
approach,
novel
that
integrates
100-dimensional
features
from
properties-based,
sequence-based,
structure-based
features,
employing
XGBoost
algorithm
prediction.
To
address
unbalanced
datasets,
we
implemented
synthetic
minority
oversampling
technique
(SMOTE).
LMFE
was
validated
across
benchmark
cross-species
independent
datasets.
Results:
achieved
accuracy
of
99.42%,
F1score
0.99,
MCC
0.98
dataset,
with
robust
performance
(accuracy
ranging
89.30%
99.81%).
On
attained
average
99.41%,
representing
12.29%
improvement
over
traditional
methods
without
SMOTE
(average
ACC
87.12%).
Compared
state-of-the-art
methods,
CPC2
PLEKv2,
consistently
outperformed
them
multiple
metrics
datasets
(with
97.33%
99.21%),
redundant

minimal
impact
performance.
