Studying away from home is a divergent experience; exciting and stressful for students studying abroad. The present study examined the role of demographic variables personality, in sociocultural adjustment, acculturative stress Pakistani Muslim International students. Two hundred seventy participated this study. Data were collected using consent form, Acculturative Stress Scale Students, Sociocultural Adjustment Scale-Revised (SCAS-R), Big Five Inventory-The BFI (John & Srivastava, 1999). Loneliness and quality of life: Perceived online and offline social support among Sub-Saharan African students in China during the COVID-19 lockdowns

<b>Objective/background: </b>The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted education globally, triggering fear and uncertainties for students. However, there is currently no research evidence to document the loneliness experience of Sub-Saharan African (SSA) students in China how social support influenced their quality life (QoL). This study explored effect COVID-19-induced on QoL SSA China.<br /> <b>Method:</b> The adopted an institutional-based cross-sectional survey through online questionnaire media platforms investigate Chinese universities. Pearson correlation matrix regression analysis were conducted validate association loneliness, (online offline), socio-demographic attributes student’s QoL.<br <b>Result: </b>In population 358 appraised study, was negatively associated with QoL. Improving the first-year experience of Chinese international students through responsive pedagogy: Insights from F&M in Shanghai

This article discusses lessons learned from the development and execution of F&M in Shanghai, a hybrid residential-remote program created for Franklin Marshall College’s first-year Chinese students Fall 2020. The Office International Programs worked with Institute Study Abroad (IFSA) to develop residential portion program, coordinated curriculum remote engagement framework. Shanghai represented an opportunity craft constructive environment by intentionally considering meeting their specific needs. Utilizing creative, well-designed pedagogy, thoughtful programming, multipronged approach student support, we were able operate great success.
