Objectives Although nurses work and live in special stressful conditions due to the nature of their profession, periods crises pandemics, when pressure on public’s need for professional services increases extraordinary incomparable levels compared customary conditions, life situation becomes entirely different. Therefore, what experienced COVID-19 pandemic went beyond typical challenges environment. This study was conducted discover nurses’ perceptions during pandemic. Methods qualitative with a conventional content analysis approach 16 working inpatient wards Iran. Data were collected through unstructured, individual, in-depth interviews between August 2020 June 2023 analyzed using (inductive) Granheim Lundman. Mental health problems, behavior changes, and addictive issues have been consistently documented among healthcare workers during the pandemic. The objective of this study was to investigate levels anger aggression in relation psychological resilience alcohol abuse first wave COVID-19 A total 120 physicians 123 nurses completed an online survey Dimensions Anger Reactions-5 (DAR-5), Brief Aggression Questionnaire (BAQ), Resilience Scale (BRS), Alcohol Screening questionnaire CAGE which is acronym for focus questions (Cutting down, Annoyance by criticism, Guilty feeling, Eye-openers). Demographic professional data were also recorded. 53 men 190 women participated study. Almost one-third participants had a positive score on DAR-5 scale one out ten respondents presented with current problematic use. Male demonstrated lower scores compared females. Individuals use displayed higher BAQ those without disorders. Regression analysis revealed that 16.4% variance can be attributed DAR-5, 5.9% BRS scores, 2.1% 1.7% gender, 1.2% years work experience. Mediation highlighted role as negative mediator relationship. A high turnover rate in nursing has become a global concern. Mental health issues may increase the intention of nurses and lead to behaviors. However, very little is known about role bidirectional associations between emotional exhaustion depression/anxiety on intention. BACKGROUND: With the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, pre-hospital emergency healthcare workers (PHEHW) assumed critical responsibilities in controlling and preventing spread virus. OBJECTIVE: This descriptive study aimed to explore emotional burnout, job satisfaction, intention leave among PHEHW during pandemic. METHODS: The was conducted with 401 medical technicians paramedics. Sociodemographic Data Form, Emotional Burnout Scale, Job Satisfaction Intention Leave Profession Scale were used collect data. findings assessed a significance level set at p < 0.05 95% confidence interval. RESULTS: participants demonstrated moderate scores profession. analysis revealed negative correlation, indicating that as burnout increased, satisfaction decreased, profession heightened. Notably, who had 6–9 years service, lacked knowledge about COVID-19, no training, underwent testing, experienced loss worker due exhibited higher levels burnout. To investigate the association between healthcare workers' demographic and work-environment variables during COVID-19 pandemic their turnover intentions or actual after two years.
