In this article, we attempt to understand English teachers’ perceptions, practices, and challenges concerning social agency through an integrative literature review build draw interpretative framework generate new knowledge. To achieve this, 58 empirical studies published in a period of seventeen years—2006 2023—were selected from the Scopus Web Science databases. Results showed that language perceptions were closely related structural factors. Practices such as interactions with communities humanistic approaches can make meaningful. Challenges more collective reflections. conclusion, agentic actions are not dampened by factors; on contrary, confirms potential educators transform education.

Abstract Teacher agency is a pivotal element of professionalism and second/foreign language (L2) education. However, its role in L2 assessment has remained under-researched. Part this negligence due to the absence validated questionnaire measure construct underlying components. To address gap, drawing on ecological perspective, present study developed scale teacher (TEAA) by gleaning data from 539 Iranian EFL teachers. The results exploratory confirmatory factor analysis (EFA, CFA) culminated 5 components 32 items scale. were labelled “Iterational”, “Projective”, “Teachers’ Practical-Evaluative View”, “Schools’ Effect”, “Professional/Democratic Community’s Effect”. Furthermore, convergent validity reliability statistically approved ( p > .05). presents some implications for teachers, trainers, policy-makers that they can understand highlight practices.

Abstract In global trends and current curricular policy reforms in second language (L2) education, there is a great emphasis on repositioning of teachers as assessors teachers’ role responsible agents assessment. However, various factors affect the agency classroom. This study explored ways English Foreign Language (EFL) perceived impact assessment teacher education course their assessors. Likewise, it scrutinized challenges opportunities confronted leveraging acquired knowledge skills to enhance contribute overall professional development. As for dataset, this phenomenological targeted 50 EFL teachers, with 25 participants completing an open-ended questionnaire other composing narratives. The research findings, using MAXQDA software (v. 20) content thematic analysis, revealed that significant positive influence courses led increased confidence competence practices. They found limited institutional support resources main challenges. they claimed would arise from collaborative networks tailored mentoring effectively apply gained findings offer valuable implications development initiatives, illuminating potential predicaments expediters enhancing fostering continuous growth.

<p style="text-align:justify">The vast technological development affects every layer of people’s daily life, including Education. However, Indonesia’s tertiary education status quo has not exhibited any rapid in information technology-based learning media. This study aimed to develop and identify the effectiveness Basic Pedagogy Material online material improving students’ outcomes pedagogy. It applied R & D design with a waterfall model on second-semester students Universitas Negeri Semarang, Indonesia, during educational year 2020/2021. The data collected through interviews, observation, questionnaire, scale, test were analyzed using independent t-test n-gain. findings indicated significant difference between average score before after used Materials mobile application process. Therefore, developed effectively improves students' pedagogy subjects effectively.</p>
