This study aimed to explore the sources of happiness individuals across different stages their lives. A phenomenological study, which is a qualitative research approach, was designed. The sample consists 129 participants (62 women, 67 men). Thematic analysis conducted analyze data, and common themes were identified for each life stage. revealed that children adolescents expressed mostly through hedonic values, whereas in middle adulthood late age predominantly them eudaimonic values. Sources all include closeness family, friends, social relations, altruistic attitudes, peace, traveling. In young later stages, theme spirituality emerged, including concepts such as meaning purpose life, belief God, gratitude being connected with nature. childhood, playing games, receiving gifts, experiencing surprises prominent happiness, adolescence, eating favorite things achieving autonomy. Health, money, successful, hope, hobbies, valued appreciated found be other various stages.

Happiness is a state of contentment, joy, and fulfillment, arising from relationships, accomplishments, inner peace, leading to well-being positivity. The greatest happiness principle posits that morality determined by pleasure, aiming for society where individuals are content free suffering. While factors vary, some universally recognized. World Report (WHR), published annually, includes data on ‘GDP per capita’, ‘social support’, ‘life expectancy’, ‘freedom make life choices’, ‘generosity’, ‘perceptions corruption’. This paper predicts scores using Machine Learning (ML), Deep (DL), ensemble ML DL algorithms examines the impact individual variables index. We also show COVID-19 pandemic features. design two models blending stacking techniques, namely, Blending RGMLL, which combines Ridge Regression (RR), Gradient Boosting (GB), Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Linear (LR), Stacking LRGR, LR, Random Forest (RF), GB, RR. Among trained models, RGMLL demonstrates highest predictive accuracy with R 2 85%, MSE 0.15, RMSE 0.38. employ Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques uncover changes in indices, variable importance, happiness. study utilizes an open dataset WHR, covering 156 countries 2018 2023. Our findings indicate capita’ most critical indicator score (HS), while support’ ‘healthy expectancy’ important features before after pandemic. However, during pandemic, emerged as indicator, followed because social support prime necessity situation. outcome this research helps people understand these increasing HS provides guidelines how can be maintain unwanted situations. A voluminous literature focuses on the associations between social capital and its potential health benefits. Against this backdrop, our study investigates downside of interpersonal connectedness, i.e., negativity relationship to negative affect. Based multilevel analysis International Social Survey Programme (2017) data consisting 31,967 individuals nested across 28 low- high-income countries, we find significant ties two measures affect: loneliness depression. We also hypothesize test cross-level interactions. First, anticipate that focal link outcome is stronger (weaker) in individualist (collectivist) cultures characterized by independent (interdependent) self-construal. Second, investigate whether magnitude becomes diminished rank higher Hofstede’s power distance index. Results from alternative model specifications provide robust evidence supporting moderating role macro cultural dimensions.

Background Physical activity (PA) is associated with higher levels of PWB and happiness. The high prevalence physical inactivity among the Iranian population concerning. Moreover, according to Happiness Report 2024, Iran ranked 100th out 143 countries. Thus, this research aimed study PWB, happiness, PA in age groups. Methods sampled 1,050 participants, equally divided into young, middle-aged, elderly groups, using randomized cluster sampling from urban areas across five geographic regions Iran. utilized four questionnaires: a Demographic Information Questionnaire, International Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), Ryff’s Scales (18-item form), Oxford (OHQ). Descriptive statistics were used for summarizing data, inferential analyses included Pearson’s correlation coefficient, one-way ANOVA, Bonferroni test, multivariate regression, all significance level set at P<0.05. Results Middle-aged individuals had highest (1015.69±730.63 MET-minutes per week) reported happiness (111.97±24.08) (63.75±11.17) levels. lowest (677.78±592.50 week), (107.63±24.01), (60.05±10.02). Statistical tests showed significant differences PA, between groups (P<0.05), no difference young (P>0.05). positively correlated especially elderly. Multivariate regression revealed that significantly predicts (F = 30.993, t 6.96, B 0.211) 86.85, 9.32, 0.004), explaining 4.4% 8.0% their variances, respectively. Conclusions concludes increasing enhances PWB. Practical applications include promoting improve mental health Future should investigate effects specific types explore longitudinal impacts on provide deeper understanding these relationships.

Abstract Introduction Existing research highlights the significance of prosocial behavior (voluntary, intentional that results in benefits for another) to people's well‐being. Yet, extent which this expected positive relation operates at within‐person level (e.g., is more than usual related a higher well‐being?) while taking into account stable interindividual differences, remains question deserves further investigation. In study, we aimed explore relations between and hedonic (HWB; subjective assessment life satisfaction happiness) eudaimonic (EWB; actualization human potential alignment with personal goals, including concepts like meaning closeness others) well‐being daily life. Method Using ecological momentary 4 weeks, data were collected from two British samples, comprising 82 adolescents 166 adults. Results Dynamic Structural Equation Modeling revealed HWB/EWB both levels across samples. Conclusion summary, these findings support link everyday Notably, association was consistent different age groups (adolescent adults) levels.

Research has established that altruistic behavior increases happiness. We examined this phenomenon across cultures, differentiating between individualistic and collectivist cultures. propose cultural variations in the notion of altruism lead to different effects helping on helper's For individualists, is linked self-interest ("impure" altruism), others results increased happiness for helper. collectivists, focused recipient ("pure" less likely enhance Four studies support our predictions. Study 1 measured dispositions toward among people with various orientations. Consistent predictions, findings showed individualism (collectivism) was positively associated tendencies reflecting more "impure" ("pure") altruism. Two experimental then moderating role orientation effect spending money oneself versus (Study 2) or doing a kind action (making tea others; 3). Both demonstrated had positive individualists but not collectivists. Finally, 4, which utilized data from World Values Survey examine altruism-happiness link countries, displayed stronger (vs. collectivist) Altogether, research sheds light differences display altruism, revealing motivations consequences behaviors.
