Reading anxiety is a common issue experienced by students in different learning settings. This study compares reading among medical online and face-to-face environments. A group of 70 first-year genders participated General English courses during the 2021–2022 academic year at North Khorasan University Medical Sciences. The students, with an average age 22, were selected based on their performance Oxford Placement Test. They then randomly assigned to either control (receiving instruction) or experimental instruction). Before sessions, both groups took EFL Anxiety Inventory (EFLRAI) as pre-test. used Sama Live App platform for instruction, while had traditional instruction. Following six from completed EFLRAI post-test. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS software, revealing that higher mean levels compared group. results indicate participants generally see technology beneficial tool enhancing collaboration peers.

Meta-analyses of the pertaining literature have shown that generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) in youth particularly students is a prevalent syndrome mental health issues identified 2022, wake COVID-19 pandemic, by World Health Organization and other national organizations such as Santé Publique France.This study, performed between 2022 2023, offers pinhole view student post-COVID-19 context at French University.A sample population 80 undergraduate medical within age range from 18 to 24 years was tested for GAD survey using an online version Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAM-A).The total test scores indicate prevalence severe very 36% population, which consistent with results studies on larger populations countries.Further statistical analyses reveal significantly higher number psychological symptoms comparison somatic GAD.The reasons why, under light findings placed current societal context, needs be addressed terms problem beyond immediate consequences pandemic are discussed.

Introduction. This study explores the influence of emotional styles on students’ information avoidance behaviour, particularly about negative news. Method. Using a sample participants, we employed Emotional Styles Questionnaire (ESQ) to measure styles, alongside an questionnaire assess participants' tendencies avoid distressing Cronbach’s Alpha for both questionnaires indicated good reliability. We researched how the transition to remote learning during COVID-19 pandemic affected development of mathematical thinking and reading comprehension skills high school students based on analysis results a standardized test for higher education admission. The total number participants was N = 17,942, out which N1 10,611 were pre-pandemic applicants N2 7,331 post-pandemic applicants. group took into consideration exam from September 2016 June 2020. 2020 up May 2023. conclude that emergency teaching decreased average competence incoming university by 12.8%. Similarly, achievement entering 8%. Therefore, impact greater mathematics than achievements.

Background: Evidence indicates an increasing prevalence of psychological issues among university students, exacerbated by COVID-19. However, conclusive data on the situation in Spanish universities is lacking. Objective: This study explores academic, interpersonal, and emotional problems, as well differences between years branches studies. Introduction The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated stress and anxiety among young people, particularly university students, impacting their mental well-being daily life. Given the rise in social isolation economic uncertainty, adoption of mindfulness practices such as sophrology, meditation, yoga becomes essential for improving health. This study aims to evaluate impact these on levels effect engagement physical activities youths. Method employed a mixed methods design assess different wellness activity (PA) students. Quantitative data were gathered electronically from 218 students at University Rouen Paris-Cité through validated questionnaires, including custom tools sports Perceived Stress Scale (PSS). sample consisted mainly adults aged 18 35, with majority 170 female 48 male participants. Qualitative insights semi-structured interviews three directors university's department (SUAPS), well four program instructors. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic posed unprecedented challenges to higher education in Germany, necessitating a rapid transition remote learning. This study evaluates the impact of on academic functioning among German university students. Methods: An online survey was conducted with 207 students aged 18 35. Results: Significantly poorer evident during pandemic, particularly output and role satisfaction. Younger (18 24 years) experienced greater decrease contact teachers lower compared older (25 35 years). These findings suggest that younger may struggle more learning due self-regulation time management. Additionally, pandemic-induced disruptions blurred boundaries between work personal life, increasing stress adversely affecting performance.
