The outbreak of COVID-19 signaled an unprecedented era unforeseen events which, among others, affected in-person psychological therapy (IPT). On the one hand, it could be argued that had foundations to make transition remote delivery, but on other, was unclear what consequences pandemic held for therapists and clients. This paper reviews existing literature explores impact pandemic’s IPT. Several studies suggest IPT abruptly interrupted, with a number challenges observed in clients’ attendance, delivery therapeutic process relationship. Conversely, positive experiences opportunities provision were reported too, such as convenience flexibility process, improved accessibility continuation during crisis. Abstract Objective The aim of this research was to understand counsellors' and therapists' perceptions experiences working online during the COVID‐19 pandemic. Method Five hundred ninety clinicians, mostly UK‐based, responded an qualitative survey, which allowed data be gathered from a broader range participants than is typical for interviews or focus group studies, provided wide‐angle lens. survey generated over 130,000 words, on five‐staged framework analysis conducted. Seven superordinate themes were identified. Results In paper, three these specifically addressing therapeutic practice with individual adult clients are presented. Therapists' accounts addressed diverse ways in space changed how they thought about therapy relationship their interactions clients.
