Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic was associated with decreases in moderate-to-vigorous physical activity and increases sedentary time for children adults, there is some evidence that Latino populations were particularly affected. This article leverages a two-wave panel, mixed-method social network dataset collected before during the Mexican American immigrants living New York City to examine networks other factors explore participants’ perceptions about how affected their activity. Participants ( n = 49) completed in-person, egocentric interviews between January June 2019 virtual follow-up May November 2021. This research evaluated the relation and fluctuations in stress sleep quality athletes with disabilities (AwD) during period before after 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, amidst COVID-19 pandemic. Assessments were conducted every 3 months over a of 10 months, encompassing three distinct pandemic phases. Results showed significant variations perceived (F = 9.41, ηp2 0.09, p < 0.01) 10.55, 0.10, 0.001), initial increased poorer sleep, improving at midpoint. Sleep components varied time (p 0.05), except for medication use daytime dysfunction. indicated direct relationship where poor potentially causes (β 0.24, 0.01; β 0.13, 0.05). Abstract Background Pre-participation evaluation (PPE) aims to support safe participation in sports. The goal of this systematic review was aggregate evidence- and consensus-based recommendations for the PPE recreational or competitive athletes as preparation developing a German guideline on subject. Methods Five databases, including MEDLINE, were searched August 2022, complemented by searches websites relevant organisations specialty medical associations citation screening. Background: The COVID-19 lockdown had a profound effect on everyday life, including sleep health. This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluated changes in quantitative parameters during the first compared with pre-lockdown general population. Methods: A search scientific databases was performed to identify eligible observational studies from inception 8 February 2023. Objective: To analyze the changes in physical activity (PA) and sedentary behavior during COVID-19 pandemic, adult population according to age non-communicable disease. Method. A cross-sectional study including n=1,334 subjects 18-55-year-old was carried out. The International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ-SF) applied through an online survey estimate time (minutes/week) at each PA intensity total amount of METs/week before confinement period. Results. [median (interquartile range, IQR)] decreased from 3657 (1977, 5466) 1059 (396, 2225); increased 840 (0, 2100) 2520 (1680, 4200) [p <0.001]. decrease mainly observed those with a previously active lifestyle (≥3000 METs/week).
