Psychological First Aid (PFA) is known to be an initial early intervention following traumatic exposure, yet little about its optimal implementation and effectiveness. This review aims examine the evidence for effectiveness of PFA interventions how have been designed, implemented, experienced. MEDLINE, Cumulative Index Nursing Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), Cochrane Library, PsychINFO, Embase, Web Science, PILOTS, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (in Chinese) databases were searched. Twenty studies from 4,735 records included quality rated, followed by integrative synthesis quantitative qualitative evidence. trauma exposure shows a positive effect reducing anxiety facilitating adaptive functioning in immediate intermediate term, Post-traumatic stress disorder/depressive symptoms less compelling. Furthermore, commonalities components techniques across different approaches identified tend align with four Hobfoll’s five essential elements: safety, calm, efficacy, connectedness (as reflected among 7/11 protocols), whereas “hope” element was developed. Investigating cases of child abuse is a stressful aspect police work, and the accumulated stress can lead to secondary trauma burnout if not balanced with sufficient resources. In this study we aimed explore available resources, including organisational support, among special unit investigators working in large district Norway. Sixteen interviews were conducted solely abuse, thematic analysis resulted five themes. The participants primarily relied on support spontaneous diffusing from their colleagues. Working teams fostered supportive relationships knowledge transfer, while high turnover represented significant obstacle collegial support. experienced lack training handling material requested systematic procedures initiated by management as preventive measure. Family friends rarely used resource due concerns about emotional impact confidentiality regulations. Universal Mental Health Training for Frontline Professionals (UMHT) is an educational programme developed and piloted in Ukraine 2021-2023. The UMHT trains frontline professionals (FLPs) to interact with, support, refer individuals with mental health conditions professional help. Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic conveyed consequences for people’s physical and mental health. During the worst scenarios, police officers were one of most exposed populations. This situation brought these professionals unusual responsibilities, such as adjust work shifts allocate from operational administrative services to supervision teams put them at an elevated risk contracting virus because they are also frontline workers too, often did not have personal protective equipment. Due this, main objective this study was analyze psychometric properties a Portuguese version Fear among officers, well know how fear relates health during wave in Portugal. Participants 174 aged between 23 58 years old ( M = 40.81; SD 6.83) who completed Scale, Operational Police Stress Questionnaire, Posttraumatic Disorder Checklist DSM-5. Confirmatory factor analysis revealed good adjustment fit two-factor model. Construct validity supported, internal consistency both periods assessment. model proved invariant groups (pre lockdown) measurement, scalar, structural levels. Study findings suggest that Version FCV-19S is reliable measure assess including development.
