En el presente estudio se valoró la situación psicológica actual de agentes Policía Judicial Guardia Civil que investigan crímenes relacionados con explotación sexual infantil (ESI), fin actualizar un plan asistencia psicológica. Para ello, tratando replicar reciente norteamericano (Seigfried-Spellar, 2017), confeccionó cuestionario online 4 pruebas estandarizadas sobre bienestar psicológico, satisfacción laboral, mecanismos afrontamiento, y estrés postraumático. El aplicó a 139 agentes, divididos en tres grupos según frecuencia trabajo contra ESI (siempre trabajan ESI, lo hacen ocasionalmente no han hecho nunca). Los datos analizaron realizando comparaciones medias calculando modelo regresión logística multinomial las variables interés. esperado, resultó los siempre presentaban mayor malestar psicológico ni postraumático hacían, contradiciendo también parte resultados del norteamericano. Estos discuten luz limitaciones encontradas, formulan propuestas mejora para futuros estudios.

Investigating cases of child abuse is a stressful aspect police work, and the accumulated stress can lead to secondary trauma burnout if not balanced with sufficient resources. In this study we aimed explore available resources, including organisational support, among special unit investigators working in large district Norway. Sixteen interviews were conducted solely abuse, thematic analysis resulted five themes. The participants primarily relied on support spontaneous diffusing from their colleagues. Working teams fostered supportive relationships knowledge transfer, while high turnover represented significant obstacle collegial support. experienced lack training handling material requested systematic procedures initiated by management as preventive measure. Family friends rarely used resource due concerns about emotional impact confidentiality regulations. There was general reluctance raise work health impairment seek counselling occupational service hardiness culture profession. results suggest that organisation should implement training, follow‑up debriefing initiatives destigmatise mental challenges create environment. Investigating child abuse represents a potential health risk for police employees. However, less is known about the distinct nature of these challenges specific groups within special victim unit. We applied qualitative research design, and conducted 15 in-depth, semi-structured interviews with employees specialized in investigative interviews, all employed at large district Norway. used reflexive, thematic analysis as analytical approach. The identified seven themes: (1) Fear failing mismatch between demand resources, (2) Questioning system: Concerns doing more harm than good; (3) Lack recognition understanding by management, (4) Restrained competence, (5) Working on edge: constant balance closeness distance, (6) Family: resource rather vulnerability, (7) Teamwork facilitates professional development. results point to moral stress, insufficient support, understanding, acknowledgment from management significant stressors. Many experiences lack variation work tasks, adding burden. can mitigate this, facilitating development available support this group.

Abstract Investigating internet child exploitation cases poses unique challenges for law enforcement employees, particularly investigators, who are routinely exposed to traumatic material depicting the suffering of victims. We posit that primary source stress in investigation stems not from exposure per se, but rather investigators' empathy victims depicted material. Drawing Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) model, our study investigates relationship between and experiences burnout posttraumatic disorder among investigators cases. Additionally, we explore moderating effect social support colleagues on these relationships. In online involving 168 (90 women), sought emphasize role as a key factor reactions.
