Background/Objectives: The Hogg Eco-Anxiety Scale (HEAS-13) is a thirteen-item measure of eco-anxiety, with four dimensions: (1) affective symptoms, (2) rumination, (3) behavioural and (4) anxiety about personal impact. Being recently developed questionnaire, data on its psychometrics are limited. aim this study was to introduce Polish version the HEAS-13 examine psychometric properties. Methods: Our sample consisted 634 Polish-speaking adults, ages ranging from 18 67 years. We assessed HEAS-13’s factor structure, internal consistency, test–retest reliabilities, concurrent validity via relationships climate-related variables, psychopathology well-being. put emphasis examining discriminant against general psychological distress. Results: As expected, demonstrated strong factorial an intended four-factor structure. consistency reliabilities scale were good moderate, respectively. Higher levels eco-anxiety associated higher environmental concerns, experience climate change (i.e., one’s perception being affected by change), pro-environmental engagement, worry, anxiety, depressive as well lower empirically supported HEAS-13, demonstrating that separable also noted females, younger people, those educational experienced eco-anxiety. To facilitate use measure, we propose potential screening cut-off value for which can indicate meaningfully elevated Conclusions: Overall, has properties, usefully enabling examination anxiety. findings highlight in cross-cultural research healthcare practice.
