Purpose The study investigates the impact of metaverse on supply chain managers’ decision-making from a behavioural aspect. It explores how an immersive virtual environment reduces biases pull-to-centre effect and risk aversion decision-makers in Newsvendor setting. Design/methodology/approach research conducts several laboratory experiments to investigate validate hypotheses. Findings establishes that managers feel more observed environment. proximity with team members enhances their public self-awareness willingness incorporate others’ perspectives.
