In our study, we use the post-hypnotic suggestion of easy remembering to improve memory with long-lasting effects. We tested 24 highly suggestible participants in an online study. Participants learned word lists and recalled them later a recognition task. At beginning were hypnotized remember easily was associated cue that used during control condition, same neutral cue. One week later, repeated both conditions new lists. significantly faster more confident their ratings easy-remembering condition compared this effect persisted over one week. Crucially, increased speed confidence did not affect accuracy. That makes hypnosis intervention promising for patients experiencing subjective impairments. 2343 (Learning Memory), 2380 (Consciousness States), 3351 (Clinical Hypnosis)

This study evaluates the comparative effectiveness of Ericksonian Hypnotherapy (EH) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in addressing prolonged grief among university students Istanbul. Transitioning through critical developmental phases, 39 who had experienced significant loss demonstrated symptoms participated this randomized controlled trial. They were divided equally into three groups: those receiving EH, undergoing CBT, a control group placed on waiting list. Assessments utilized Prolonged Grief Scale Beck Depression Inventory to measure interventions' impact grief. Findings revealed improvements both EH CBT groups compared control, with showing marginally higher reducing symptoms. research underlines EH's potential as culturally adaptable effective treatment for diverse academic setting, advocating its broader application further exploration across various populations.

We qualitatively examined open-ended responses post-training implementation trainees (n = 70) our for Cancer Pain program. Data were analyzed inductive thematic analysis. Four main themes regarding challenges real-world identified: 1) How do I "pitch" people my health system?; 2) conduct native habitat (aka messy, imperfect real world)?; 3) move "off-book" and improvise?; and, 4) I'd more secure with a "buddy system." These have direct implications programs better facilitate provider implementation.

Objective Numerous studies suggest that hypnosis has significant potential in mental health and cognitive disorder treatments. However, the mechanisms by which influences brain activity functional network connectivity remain unclear. This study employed near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) to investigate resting-state (rsFC) under hypnosis. Methods Twenty-six healthy college students participated study. Resting-state oxygenated hemoglobin (HbO) data were collected from prefrontal cortex (PFC) during both control aware hypnotic states. Functional strengths between these states analyzed assess changes associated with deep Results A total of 55 paired samples t -tests conducted across 11 regions interest (ROIs), revealing statistically differences ( p < 0.05) strength state 10 comparisons. Increased (6 pairs): LBA9-RBA10 = −2.672, 0.013), LBA6-RBA46 −2.948, 0.007), LBA46-RBA46 −2.516, 0.019), RBA8-RBA46 −2.689, RBA9-RBA46 −2.090, 0.047), LBA10-RBA10 −2.315, 0.029); Decreased (4 LBA9-LBA45 2.064, 0.049), LBA6-LBA45 3.151, 0.004), LBA8-LBA45 2.438, 0.022), LBA8-RBA9 2.085, 0.047).
