Background & objectives In India, mental health treatment gaps are significant, and related to shortage of trained personnel. Published literature has identified in existing training programmes including - delivering psychological interventions for complex concerns such as intensified post-COVID grief, trauma, suicidality; ongoing mentoring; culture-sensitive interventions. Despite government initiatives, have been compounded by a surge distress following COVID-19. This study aimed develop, implement evaluate programme psychologists identify, assess, treat concerns. Methods The employed sequential mixed exploratory research design with tailored development (Phase I) delivery pre-post evaluations participation, satisfaction, learning competence using Moore's framework II). Psychologists postgraduate qualifications, engaged direct client contact were invited through flyers participate the free online programme. Results final included ten modules; knowledge, skills, application components; comprising synchronous asynchronous elements. Fifty-three participants enrolled 70 per cent completed course. Pre-post indicated high satisfaction (93.54% rated met/exceeded expectations); improvements (pre mode = 3; post-training 4); average above scores (mean ≥3 on 7 out 9 module quizzes). Participant feedback revealed that focus concerns, practical interactive sessions role play recordings, case-based supervision helpful. Interpretation conclusions focused needs assessment survey. It was received well terms content, accessibility learning. indigenous skill-focused implications contribute future preparedness scope large-scale deployment.

Abstract Future confidence, as a positive quality, demonstrates protective effect on young people's behaviours and mental health, especially during the critical period of transition from adolescence to adulthood. However, developmental trend future confidence adolescents enter early adulthood is unclear. This study used four waves longitudinal data China Family Tracking Study (CFPS) 2012–2018. Totally 707 (48.7% male) samples were finalized for analysis. The results showed that quadratic latent growth curve modelling (LGCM) best fit, which demonstrated an increasing later decreasing trend. present found subjective social status positively related initial level confidence. higher status, but it does not affect subsequent Academic performance was also correlated with levels, affected trends. Specifically, better academic exhibits gradual decline, while average poor shows increase followed by decline. findings provided empirical basis improving in evidence further research.
