Introduction With the advancement of social economy, sports consumption has shifted from traditional material-based purchases to experiential consumption, emphasizing psychological engagement and emotional fulfillment. However, mechanisms behind remain underexplored, especially in context exclusion. Methods This study is grounded exclusion theory, constructing a conceptual model where independent variable, intention dependent loneliness need for connection serve as mediators. A survey was conducted with 415 valid responses, data were analyzed using structural equation modeling Bootstrap method examine relationships among variables. Results The findings indicate that significantly positively predicts engage consumption. It also significant positive effect on connection. does not mediate relationship between intention, while does. Furthermore, chain mediation exists intention. Discussion These results suggest organizations enterprises should design socially engaging activities strengthen connections alleviate feelings enriches theoretical understanding its impact providing practical insights enhancing inclusion through sports.
