Mental
health
among
children
and
adolescents
persists
as
a
significant
public
concern,
given
the
continuous
escalation
in
prevalence
of
mental
disorders.1
According
to
World
Health
Organization
(WHO),
roughly
20%
young
people
encounter
psychiatric
difficulties.2
A
considerable
proportion
(50%)
morbidity
adults
manifests
formative
years
ofchildhood.
Children
living
LMIC
have
high
due
various
adversities
they
face,
including
limited
services
support
with
neurodevelopmental
disabilities
stigma,
poor
educational
facilities
environment,
bullying,
caregivers’
absence,
chronic
poverty,
armed
conflicts,
etc.
Despite
burden
illnesses
originating
at
age
associated
disability,
evidence
from
both
developed
developing
countries
suggest
that
majority
risk
illness
remain
undetected
untreated.
In
certainsocieties,
it
is
not
an
anomalous
phenomenon
parents
are
held
accountable
for
their
child’s
or
traced
back
spiritual
factors
demonic
possession.
Epilepsy,
co-morbid
disorder
manydevelopmental
problems

sometimes
