In recent years, there has been increasing recognition of mental health concerns in academia, with stress, burnout, anxiety, and depression being reported among faculty members. The demanding work environment, the need to balance personal professional duties, constant pressure productivity while navigating multiple tasks teaching, research, mentorship, development, service all impact overall well-being faculty. Higher education institutions have structurally changed as research landscape. These changes well faculty-specific student-specific factors coupled effect COVID-19 pandemic led profound effects on academics. This paper is a narrative review pertinent literature describing well-being. It summarizes available evidence influencing shows prevalence depression, burnout from various academic fields along whole ladder. Background Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a common chronic disease, affecting 25-30% of the general population globally. The condition even more prevalent in individuals with obesity and frequently linked to metabolic syndrome. Given known associations between syndrome mental health issues, it likely that such relationship also exists NAFLD problems. However, studies this field remain limited. Objective: This study aimed to understand the causes of social isolation among older adults with chronic diseases. Methods: In-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted 20 diseases, and thematic interpretative phenomenological analyses used in order fully psychosocial behavioral changes following diagnosis. Results: People severe described their life journeys after falling ill, potential influencing factors for identified. We identified three themes across biology, psychology, sociology: declining imbalanced physiology, negative feelings, unmet relational needs. ABSTRACT Aim To evaluate the relationship between social isolation, loneliness and psychological well‐being in patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Additionally, we examined mediating effect of activity on relationships well‐being. Design Cross‐sectional descriptive study. Methods A total 218 participants were recruited from outpatient clinic at a university hospital Turkey community membership patient support group. Participants provided their socio‐demographic disease‐related information completed (online paper based) Turkish Lubben Social Network Scale‐6, UCLA Loneliness Scale Short Form Psychological Well‐being Scale. The data analysed using univariate linear regression analysis. This study adhered to STROBE checklist for reporting. Results majority (72%) socially isolated, over half (54.1%) reported moderate high levels loneliness. also had low Linear analysis revealed that level isolation negative predictors results was mediated by activity. Conclusion In line findings, it can be recommended enhance networks, along regular evaluation, should integrated into holistic care approach IBD patients. Background: Interstitial lung diseases (ILD) are a heterogenous group of that involve inflammation and/or fibrosis the parenchyma. ILD can exert significant stress on person’s extrapulmonary systems, eroding organ and physical function. Thus, accelerate age-related vulnerabilities lead to early onset frailty, which makes frailty prevalent in at any age. Frailty confers three-fold increase of, predicts, mortality ILD. Objective: To present feasible approach understanding addressing holistic health fortify psychological capacity markedly enhances tolerance aging. Methods: From our previous published work consisted serial Medline PubMed scoping reviews (with search terms such as interstitial disease, ILD, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, IPF, systemic sclerosis, sarcoidosis, well-being), patient focus groups, outcome measures deconstruction linking World Health Organization’s International Classification Disability, nominal processes, we iteratively isolated factors seem and, importantly, protect against reverse frailty.
