Neuropsychiatric symptoms commonly reported in CP, mostly chronic fatigue, cognitive disorders, attention among others. pathophysiological mechanisms not fully known, most described hypoxia related neuronal damage, microvascular lesions, persistent proinflammatory state, activation latent viral infections, alteration blood-brain barrier. There no specific complementary tests confirm diagnosis CP. also treatment date therapies aimed at relieving improving life. Introduction: Currently, the physical and functional consequences on individuals who have recovered from severe form of Covid-19 are experiencing traumatic stress remain unknown. Objective: To assess post-traumatic disorder (PTSD) in post-hospital discharge following COVID-19 investigate its relationship with sociodemographic variables, quality life, muscle strength capacity. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted, including both genders aged between 31 79 years, had required hospitalization. Participants underwent evaluations for PTSD, activity level, mobility balance (Timed Up Go test – TUG), distance covered 6-minute walk (6MWT) life (Short Form-36 Health Srvey -SF-36). Results: Out 153 eligible individuals, 60 successfully completed assessments. The age range to 77 63.3% were female. PTSD identified 48.3%, 38.7% exhibiting partial symptoms. Furthermore, 65.5% obese, 62.1% hypertensive. This group demonstrated a higher degree sedentary behavior (p=0.009), increased frequency intensive care unit hospitalization, greater number days hospitalized, respectively (p<0.001 p=0.010). They exhibited longer times TUG (p=0.014), shorter distances than predicted 6MWT (p=0.001), reduction all domains SF-36. Conclusion: Given findings this study, follow-up these needs be continued order verify permanence symptoms manifestations.
