Background and Study Aim. Regular exercise has a positive effect on physical, psychological, social health. However, excessive participation in the need for compulsive can lead to addiction. Bu çalışmada, spor salonuna üye olan bireylerin egzersiz bağımlılığı ile ortoreksiya nervoza eğilimleri arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında 17-67 yaş aralığındaki 135 erkek, 121 kadın olmak üzere 256 katılımcı yapılan analizler sonucunda, gruplarına göre, 17-23 grubundakilerin eğilimlerinin, 30-36 ve 43 üzeri gruplara göre belirgin şekilde daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir (p&lt;0,05). 4-6 yıldır yapanların 7 1-3 yapanlara ölçeğinin tüm alt boyutlarında puana sahip Katılımcıların %87,8’sinin sosyal medyada egzersizle ilgili sayfaları, %80,5’inin ise beslenmeyle sayfaları takip ettiği görülmüştür. Ortoreksiya eğilimi ilerledikçe artmaktadır Araştırmada, yapan yıldan uzun süredir bireylerden fazla belirlenmiştir (X=30,38 X=23,64, p&lt;0,05). Ayrıca, etme durumunun ORTO-11 puanı arasında bir anlamlılık edilmemiştir (p&gt;0,05). Egzersiz orta düzeyde negatif görülmüştür (r=-0,442, p&lt;0,001).
