As mental health disorders like Major Depressive Disorder and Generalized Anxiety rise globally, effective, scalable, personalized treatments are urgently needed. This 16-week prospective, decentralized, randomized, waitlist-controlled study investigated the effectiveness of a digital data-driven therapeutic integrating wearable sensor data with mobile app to deliver CBT-based interventions for individuals depressive generalized anxiety symptoms. 200 adults were randomized intervention or control groups, 164 completing study. The group demonstrated significant reductions in (mean change = −5.61, CI −7.14, −4.08) symptoms −5.21, −6.66, −3.76), compared group, medium-to-large effect sizes (r 0.64 r 0.62, P < 0.001). Notably, these improvements also observed participants clinically depression anxiety, further reinforcing potential therapeutics targeting more severe cases. These findings, combined high engagement levels, suggest that could complement traditional treatments, though research is needed assess their long-term impact.

Complex eHealth interventions-featuring multiple components within dynamic systems-are used for healthcare improvement. Public-private partnerships (PPPs), combining resources, expertise, and technology, are crucial in this context. Yet, integrating these interventions into practice remains challenging. This study identifies barriers facilitators affecting implementation of the BENEFIT programme, a complex intervention targeting cardiovascular disease patients, by PPP practice. A qualitative design was employed. Ten key stakeholders from four cardiac rehabilitation (CR) sites, who were all partners involved developing implementing interviewed semistructured. Transcripts analysed using Consolidated Framework Implementation Research. Facilitators included programme adaptability, communication planning teams, digital needs, dedicated leadership, meeting structure PPP's ability to quickly modify strategy. Barriers specific challenges (frequently changing roles, unclear roles responsibilities limited staffing), workplace disruptions, poor information technology (IT) integration, ambiguous goals amongst CR sites. case highlights PPPs The findings underscore need comprehensive approach considering dynamics, including combined expertise transparent role definition, sufficient staffing, clear goal adaptable strategies sustainable implementation.

Health-promoting lifestyle behaviors (e.g., as measured by the HPLP-II) are associated with reductions in disease mortality, well improved well-being, mental health, and quality of life. However, it is unclear how a weight-management program relates to broad range these (i.e., health responsibility, physical activity, nutrition, spiritual growth, interpersonal relations, stress management), especially fully digital on which individuals have self-manage their own daily lives (with assistance from virtual human coach). In context setting, this study examined changes health-promoting over 12 months, associations between weight loss, retention, engagement, among participants who self-enrolled mobile CBT-based nutritionally focused behavior change management (n = 242). Participants lost statistically significant amount (M 6.7 kg; SD 12.7 t(80) 9.26, p < 0.001) reported significantly overall HPLP-II summary scores), as, specifically, management, relations baseline 6 months (all ps 0.008). at learned behaviors) compared were better predictors retention engagement. A digital, intervention can improve scores, which, turn, has implications for understanding comprehensive effects programs, particularly setting.

Introduction Lifestyle Medicine comprises six domains: diet, substance use, physical activity, stress management, social connection, and sleep. The comprehensive assessment of lifestyle is challenging, but the “Short Multidimensional Inventory on Evaluation” (SMILE) was developed to fill out this gap. In paper, we describe development psychometric properties (internal consistency, concurrent convergent validity) a shorter version SMILE among university students.

Objective The importance of a healthy lifestyle in preventing morbidity and mortality is well-established. COVID-19 pandemic brought about significant changes globally, but the extent these Brazilian population remains unclear. objective this study was to evaluate among general during first year pandemic. Design Three consecutive anonymous web surveys were carried out: survey 1 (S1)—April 2020, S2—August 2020 S3—January 2021. Setting Brazil. Participants included 19 257 (S1), 1590 (S2) 859 (S3) participants from population, who ≥18 years, both sexes, with access internet, self-reporting living Brazil agreed participate after reading informed consent. Primary outcome Lifestyle assessed using Short Multidimensional Instrument for Evaluation—Confinement (SMILE-C). SMILE-C assesses across multiple domains including diet, substance use, physical activity, stress management, restorative sleep, social support environmental exposures. We used combination bootstrapping linear fixed-effect modelling estimate pairwise mean differences scores overall by domain between surveys. Results In all surveys, mostly women high education level. Mean 186.4 187.4 190.5 (S3), indicating better S3 as compared S1. statistically (p<0.001). also observed over time except diet support.
