At present, the world is still grappling with impact of COVID-19 pandemic on health facilities. However, Syrian facilities are now facing a new challenge as dozens cases cholera have been documented, indicating outbreak in region. The ongoing conflict, which has lasted for over decade, significantly impacted all aspects sector, ranging from buildings and equipment to medical personnel1. Consequently, there significant decline quality care services provided. prolonged concentrated urban areas, exacerbated consequences2. further tested ability these provide while also draining their resources3. During pandemic, largest public hospital had only 11 available beds intensive unit, yet nearly 1 million people depended services. Mobile health (mHealth) approaches are especially beneficial to Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), which has a disproportionate disease burden and scarcity of healthcare workers. This study aims assess the availability, stage, targeted issues mHealth interventions in SSA identify gaps. The employed scoping review guided by Arksey O'Malley's framework explore use SSA. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses extension Scoping (PRISMA-ScR) was used report transparent comprehensive manner. Abstract Background Assessment of the clinical learning environment (CLE) is an essential step that teaching hospitals routinely undertake to ensure conducive, learning-oriented and supportive junior doctors’ education. The Postgraduate Hospital Educational Environment Measure (PHEEM) internationally recognized tool for assessing CLE with evidence high reliability validity. Translation PHEEM into other languages such as Spanish, Japanese Persian enabled wider adoption instrument in world. However, Syria Arabic countries, a validated translation still not available, making it difficult adopt use contexts. This study aims translate culturally adapt from English Arabic. Methods followed structured validation process guideline proposed by Sousa & Rojjanasrirat 2010. First, went through forward three translators, then reconciled aid fourth translator. Health-care workers (HCWs) have dealt with various psychological problems during the COVID-19 epidemic, including sadness, mental discomfort, anxiety, and poor sleep. Burnout is a state of prolonged work-related psychological, emotional, physical stress brought on by emotional weariness, depersonalization, decreased professional success. This study aimed to determine how many HCWs burned out Omicron wave pandemic what factors put them at risk for this effect. cross-sectional research was performed in Syria current evaluate burnout experienced Syrian physicians who treat patients. The inclusion criteria were all treated patients COVID-19. data collected between April 3 March 20, 2022. We investigated whether questionnaire used valid understandable participants. A total 729 health-care providers inquired our study; however, 30 participants disqualified because their answers not fully completed. overall age 31 ± 9, ratio males females almost equal. majority (47.5%) sample study's are residents, 72.8% cared prevalence high levels 41.6%. Compared men (22.3%), women much more likely (27.9%) report experiencing degree exhaustion; also, (30.1%) exhaustion compared others, which individuals COVID19 1.76 times than did care experience severe (odds ratio: 1.766, 95% confidence interval:1.2-2.4, P value < .001). Abstract The global impact of COVID-19 was devastating, particularly in low-income countries. Conflict zones like Syria, already plagued by political and socioeconomic instability, faced additional hardships, resulting a fast collapse the healthcare system. overwhelmed system necessitated implementation home-based management as practical solution to alleviate strain on hospitals. This study documents efforts volunteer team during initial wave Damascus, Syria (August-September 2020) implementing through home visits evaluates its outcomes terms recovery, hospitalization, mortality. Out managed 770 moderate severe cases, approximately 80% reported full or partial recovery from COVID-19, with only 6.6% experiencing persistently low peripheral blood oxygen levels at follow-up. Nonetheless, 28.6% patients 14.5% were admitted intensive care units, 15.3% died. Age, masculinity, cardiac comorbidities associated higher need for support led hospitalization mortality rates. approach effectively steered most toward facilitated timely identification critical cases until their transition hospital when capacities allowed, proving be pivotal asset face such challenging circumstances.
