Pathways to social media addiction: Examining its prevalence, and predictive factors among Ghanaian youths DOI

Social networks are incredibly popular among teenagers, and they have proven, when used with appropriate methodologies strategies, suitable to be applied in educational environments.Considering that social aim entertain, socialize, inform, teach, it seems convenient introduce them as complementary tasks English a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction.Thus, this work aims investigate the effect of three networks, (1) TikTok, (2) YouTube, (3) Spotify, which focused on interdisciplinary issue responsible use specifically secondary education students' EFL oral communicative competence participation.To do so, speaking skills sample eighty-one ninth-graders were tested using within language cooperative learning framework being instructed conventional teaching tasks.The results confirm hypothesis is beneficial for improving engagement toward their learning.Practical implications aimed at including classes discussed.

Social media has experienced significant growth over the past twenty years and facilitated online communication. With 4.95 billion global users as of October 2023, it become an important aspect everyday life, with a third population using at least one app. Using systematic literature review methodology, this study explores screening methods used to measure impact social its on adolescent psychological well-being. This was conducted according guidelines proposed in PRISMA statement. A total 948 studies published between 2019 2023 Google Scholar Scopus databases were identified, but only 9 articles met inclusion criteria analyzed.
