Abstract Background Core elements such as emergency coordination, cooperative surveillance, community protection, safe and scalable care, countermeasures, research have been used to direct preparedness response operations. Among these, healthcare workers (HCWs) attitudes knowledge regarding monkeypox (Mpox) play a crucial part in epidemic response, prevention, readiness. We carried out systematic review meta-analysis look into the knowledge, attitudes, practices (KAP) of HCWs about Mpox surveillance reporting. Methods Using Boolean operators MeSH keywords, thorough search was across numerous databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Embase, Web Science, CINAHL, PsycINFO, Cochrane Library, Google Scholar. Papers reporting on KAP assessments among were included according inclusion criteria. To ensure uniformity data extraction, standardized technique used, interrater reliability verified. Quality assessment out. Results There no statistically significant difference between average mean groups, pooled odds ratio (ORs) for high (0.97), altitude (1.00), practice (1.00) scores. High attitude, scores made up 35.6%, 32.9%, 31.5% total scores, respectively. The risk ratios (RRs) (0.98), (1.01) not significant, indicating that there discernible two line with results OR analysis. Low heterogeneity found examined studies overall each category. Conclusion This study emphasizes importance addressing gaps differences Mpox. Some showed excellent awareness positive whereas others lacked fundamental skills preventative measures. management prospective outbreaks should be improved through implementation targeted educational interventions.

Healthcare workers (HCWs) play a crucial role this process. This study aimed determine global knowledge attitudes towards among HCWs. Methods searched multiple databases, including Google Scholar, Scopus, PubMed/MEDLINE, Science Direct, Web Science, Embase, Springer ProQuest, locate various publications. search was limited English-language articles published between May 2022 (when incidence reported) August 2023. Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) quality checklist utilized evaluate included studies. Data were obtained using Microsoft Excel spreadsheet subsequently scrutinized through STATA software, version 14. heterogeneity studies assessed inverse variance Cochran Q statistics based on I2 test statistics. Dersimonian Liard random effects models used where existed. Subgroup analysis univariate multivariable metaregression techniques examine causes heterogeneity. Results A total 22 studies, for (27 731 HCWs) 6 (14 388 HCWs), meta-analysis. pooled estimates good positive HCWs 26.0% (95% confidence interval [CI] 17.8 34.2) 34.6% CI 19.0 50.2), respectively. Moreover, 34.8% 24.1 45.6) with <5 y work experience 41.6% 33.1 50) individuals possessing >5 professional background. Conclusions Good is at low level. It suggested that training sessions should be tailored younger less healthcare experience. Additionally, it essential identify strategies how improve better practice about disease worldwide.
