Prospective university students experience substantial academic stressors and psychological vulnerabilities, yet their mental health literacy (MHL) remains inadequately explored. This study investigates four dimensions of MHL - help-seeking behaviors, stigma, knowledge about understanding illnesses. Besides, Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques are employed to analyze spatial disparities in MHL, which is the first context research. A total 1,485 were assessed for sociodemographic characteristics, admission-related variables, behaviors family histories issues. Data analyzed using SPSS ArcGIS software. Multivariable linear regression analyses unveiled predictors dimensions, with gender, income, admission test performance, smoking, alcohol drug use, physical history, current depression or anxiety history suicide incidents emerging as common predictors. GIS analysis unraveled notable regional particularly illness, northern some southern districts displaying higher levels. In conclusion, these findings accentuate significant gender inequalities among prospective students, highlighting imperative targeted interventions enhance foster well-being this cohort.

Abstract Objective This study was designed to explore the relationships between depression, and likelihood of suicide among young adolescents by considering various factors. Design Samples It conducted in a descriptive‐cross‐sectional format, with fieldwork spanning from November 16, 2022, June 30, 2023. The assessed attending university Eastern Turkey.
