Background: The global COVID-19 pandemic, declared in January 2020, necessitated urgent preventive measures, with vaccination as a key strategy. Despite progress vaccine development and distribution, widespread hesitancy persists, impeding disease control efforts. This study specifically explores acceptance among Iranian children asthma, aiming to understand factors unique this subgroup. Method: A cross-sectional investigation was carried out an allergy clinic Iran, including total of 522 asthmatic between the ages 5 18 years. comprehensive questionnaire, built upon previous studies, investigated that influence hesitation acceptance. Data pertaining demographics, status, influencing or were collected. Results: Among participants, 27.5% administered vaccine. This study investigated parental attitudes toward childhood vaccination in Jordan, focusing on acceptance, concerns, and perceptions. A cross-sectional survey conducted from January to February 2024 included 939 parents. Findings indicated that 85.4% (n = 802) of respondents received the COVID-19 vaccine, while only 25% 229) vaccinated their children. Concerns regarding vaccine safety efficacy were prevalent, with 63.9% 600) expressing worries about side effects 46.9% 440) trusting immunization programs. Post-pandemic, 34% 319) reported a more negative attitude. Logistic regression showed parents not vaccinating children against significantly less likely exhibit positive (OR 0.412, p < 0.001). This observational prospective cross-sectional study was conducted during the last 4 months of COVID-19 pandemic to determine whether parental hesitancy vaccinate their children against had improved compared earlier studies in other countries showing high levels hesitancy. Methods: Parents were surveyed from January until May 16, 2023, at two tertiary medical centers Beirut, American University Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and Saint George Hospital (SGHUMC). Results: The enrolled 950 participants, predominantly mothers (79.6%) aged 30–49 (79%), highly educated parents (69.8% 62.2% fathers university graduates). Although routine childhood vaccinations received remarkable acceptance (98.3%), there considerable towards pediatric (56.4%). Only 9.4% vaccinated all eligible children. main concern vaccine's safety perceived lack testing (p < 0.001). Other factors gender, vaccination status, children's age. In adjusted model, a higher rate vaccine (AOR: 1.746 [1.059–2.878], p = 0.029). Similarly, 2.703, 0.001) 12–17 4.450, more acceptance.
