The emergence of COVID-19 over-concern immediately after the cancelation of the measures adopted by the dynamic zero-COVID policy in China

This
study
aimed
to
report
the
prevalence
of
COVID-19
over-concern
and
its
associated
factors
after
relaxation
health-protective
measures
in
China.
A
team
seven
experts
psychiatry
psychology
specializing
mental
health
research
from
China,
Hong
Kong,
overseas

consensus
on
diagnostic
criteria
for
over-concern.

Background
After
the
Chinese
government
announced
end
of
dynamic
zero-COVID
policy
on
January
8,
2023,
COVID-19
pandemic
peaked.
Frontline
nursing
staff
are
at
high
risk
infection
transmission
due
to
their
frequent
contact
with
patients.
In
addition,
ending
China’s
policy,
frontline
have
grappled
increased
workload,
fatigue,
and
more.
This
study
aimed
explore
prevalence
insomnia
symptoms
in
its
influencing
factors
following
policy.
Methods
Between
February
this
