Elderly people are a population that receives attention worldwide because when individuals enter the elderly period, life changes automatically occur, from productive to non-productive, even reduced physical abilities. This condition can undoubtedly affect psychological well-being of it requires them adapt new situations have never been experienced before. study aimed determine through descriptive analysis and difference tests find results differences in male female people. Three hundred twenty people, both men women, were involved this study. These selected using purposive sampling techniques Yogyakarta area. Data collection used scale with six indicators, namely (1) self-acceptance, (2) goals, (3) environmental mastery, (4) personal growth, (5) autonomy, (6) positive relationships others. Background As an umbrella term, social prescribing offers varied routes into society which promise to support, enhance, and empower individual citizens take control of their own health wellbeing. Introduction Nature-based art therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses natural elements and settings to promote well-being health through creative expression, facilitated by professional therapist. Interest in nature-based mental approaches surged, particularly following the COVID-19 lockdowns, as research highlights nature’s role restoration sustainability. Despite growth field, comprehensive overview of remains absent. This scoping review aimed map landscape identify thematic scope within this emerging field. Abstract Animal-assisted interventions (AAI) involve interactions between humans and other species aimed at improving human psychological and/or physical health. Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a condition in which AAI may be helpful. Most research has been conducted with domestic animals. Few studies have wildlife. This study used modified crossover design to evaluate the feasibility response nature/wildlife immersion program for US veterans PTSD/ PTSD symptoms. A total of 19 participated over mean 15.1 weeks. The intervention included baseline forest walk, assisting wildlife care rehabilitation center, observation sanctuary, bird watching. Each activity was twice didactic education. Bird feeders were provided sustainable connection following study. guided by realms human/beyond-human animal interaction model within theory transcendent pluralism, grounded mutual dignity. Evaluation incorporated observation, post-activity surveys, instruments, physiological measures, focus groups, follow-up interviews. A socially prescribed creative play intervention for new parents: investigating post traumatic stress around birth and changes in postnatal depression and reflective function DOI Creative Commons

Abstract Background Parenthood is a key transition period which involve emotional, social and physical adjustments. Social prescribing method that connects people to community-based activities, groups, services addressing various needs impacting their health wellbeing. This pilot investigation aimed assess whether curated socially prescribed creative play programme would impact upon new parents’ connection, mental reflective function through designed support these changes. Methods study was part of 5-week long at family theatre company in the North England, providing capital families while teaching play. In total, 57 parents ( M = 30.73, SD 6.20) completed baseline post-intervention measures birth trauma experiences (City Birth Trauma Scale), postnatal depression (Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale) (Reflective Functioning Questionnaire), qualitative, open-ended questions on opportunities. Descriptive analyses were using t-tests chi-square tests, repeated ANOVAs used answer around main analyses. Results The participants experienced statistically significant reduction scores following intervention, but no changes found or scores; secondly, predicted later as well functioning uncertainty (but not certainty scores). Nature prescription programs have become more common within healthcare settings. Despite the health benefits of being in nature, nature prescriptions context Indigenous Peoples received little attention. We therefore sought to answer following question: What are circumpolar-based physicians’ and Elders’ views on prescribing Northwest Territories, Canada? carried out thirteen semi-structured interviews with physicians between May 2022 March 2023, one sharing circle Elders February 2023. Introduction How to adapt the curriculum of medicine, pharmacy, and biomedical sciences prepare future health professionals meet challenge maintaining quality care in a period socio-ecological crisis? Addressing connections between humanity sustainable environment should include an analysis reciprocal influence various ecosystems, since it is now clear that healthcare systems have impact on ecosystems vice versa. Here, we propose integrating United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into could be first step such transversal education. Methods Members faculty medicine at University Namur, Belgium, including teaching staff department psychology, were invited respond anonymously questionnaire about their views feasibility SDGs teaching.
