Abstract Background: With the economic and social transformations, depression anxiety disorders are presenting an increasingly common trend globally, becoming a widely addressed issue in mental health. Research has shown that livable natural environments high-quality interactions can influence residents’ psychological health happiness. However, Studies on Whether perception of environment affects anxiety, underlying mechanisms remained limited. Methods: This study relies Health Life Satisfaction Survey Yangtze River Phase II Delta (HLSSYRD II), collected during waves spanning 2021 2023. The primary objective is to examine relationship between environmental perception, interaction, degree individuals. Linear mixed-effects models were used analyze data. Results: A total 1752 observations included this paper. “Depression Anxiety (HAD)” variable mean score 26.01 (SE = 6.99), with “Depression” scoring at 13.15 3.78) “Anxiety” 12.85 3.75) among individuals YRDC. There strong negative correlation depression, (β -0.187, SE 0.03, p < 0.001; β -0.152, 0.001). Moreover, there was significant mediating effects interaction association HAD. In addition, gender, chronic disease,marital status, occupation, education level, monthly personal income associated anxiety. Conclusions: Individuals worse have more possibility develop depressive symptoms than those better YRDC, such be partly mediated by interaction.

Introduction Perceived social support plays a crucial role in adolescent development, health, well-being, and resilience. Understanding the factors associated with perceived among adolescents is essential for designing effective interventions. However, research this area, particularly within specific contexts, remains limited. Therefore, study aims to identify Gamo Zone, South Ethiopia Regional State. Method A community-based cross-sectional was conducted, involving 1172 selected through stratified multi-stage sampling method. Structured face-to-face interviews were employed data collection. Summary statistics utilized presentation. Multiple linear regressions then performed support. The strength direction of associations presented using β coefficients 95% confidence intervals (CIs). level statistical significance set at alpha 5%. Result total mean 57.02 ± 12.68. Adolescents living their biological parents reported significantly higher levels (β = 4.17, CI: 2.00 6.34) compared counterparts. Similarly, engaged paid work last 12 months 3.43, 1.39 5.46). Higher parental monitoring also increased 3.03, 1.23 4.82). Additionally, who risks sexual reproductive health (SRH) problems 2.76, 0.84 4.69). Moreover, good knowledge about SRH rights exhibited 2.46, 0.89 4.02). Furthermore, residing rural areas those urban 1.56, 0.16 3.11).
