Elderly individuals living alone represent a vulnerable group with limited family support, making them more susceptible to mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. This study aims construct network model of anxiety symptoms among older adults alone, exploring the correlations centrality different symptoms. The goal is identify core bridging inform clinical interventions. Using data from 2018 Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS), this constructed elderly alone. Depression were assessed using Center for Epidemiologic Studies Scale-10 (CESD-10) Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale-7 (GAD-7), respectively. A Gaussian Graphical Model (GGM) was employed build symptom network, Fruchterman-Reingold algorithm used visualization, thickness color edges representing partial between To minimize spurious correlations, Least Absolute Shrinkage Selection Operator (LASSO) method applied regularization, optimal regularization parameters selected Extended Bayesian Information Criterion (EBIC). Background Depression and anxiety are prevalent mental health issues among older adult widowed adults. However, the symptom-level relationships between these conditions remain unclear. Due to high correlations complex various symptoms, this study employs network analysis explore differences in structures of depression symptoms non-widowed Methods Propensity score matching was used identify adults with similar demographic characteristics. Data from 1,736 matched controls were analyzed using Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (2017–2018). measured by Center for Epidemiologic Studies Scale-10 (CESD-10) seven-item Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale (GAD-7), respectively. Central bridge evaluated expected influence (EI) (BEI), Results Network revealed similarities central adults, both groups exhibiting “Feeling depressed or down” (CESD3), tense having difficulty relaxing” (GAD4), “Being unable stop control worrying” (GAD2) as core symptoms. emerged In group, anxious, worried, distressed” (GAD1) most strongly connected “Felt lonely” (CESD8); “Worrying too much about things” (GAD3) linked increasingly exhausted useless age” (CESD4); (CESD3) had a strong association “Becoming easily annoyed irritable” (GAD6). exhibited strongest “Having good sleep quality” (CESD10); “Getting upset over small matters” (CESD1) closely (GAD1); (CESD3). Conclusion Common highlight universal intervention targets. Addressing may help prevent depression-anxiety comorbidity. These findings support targeted interventions improve outcomes. Anxiety is a disorder that may negatively impact the quality of life for people with hypertension. In Marrakech, epidemiological data on anxiety in hypertension patients are scarce, preventing holistic treatment hypertensive and favoring development comorbidities. This study aims to assess prevalence self-reported among receiving care primary healthcare centers Marrakech. Between May 2021 December 2022, cross-sectional 1053 who visited Marrakech was carried out. Socio-demographic information, behavioral clinical characteristics, care-patient-physician triad were all collected via face-to-face questionnaire. The Generalized Disorder Scale (GAD-7) used anxiety. Multivariate logistic regression identify risk factors A total 348 (33.1%) those overall reported having symptoms. 301 (86.5%) females, mean age 61.5 ± 9.6 years (mean standard deviation). High stress, moderate family history hypertension, pain physical discomfort, non-purchase drug if it out stock at centers, living urban areas, lack social support, non-consumption five fruits vegetables per day identified as Self-reported prevalent one third Hence, greater emphasis should be placed mental health component when managing centers.

The aim this study was to examine network structure these common mental health problems a sample explore differences between males females. Participants (N = 476; 235 males, 241 females) were recruited from population completed questionnaires measure levels anxiety, life satisfaction. A psychometric analysis conducted using Gaussian Graphical Model, comparison test (NCT) performed evaluate overall consistency global connectivity. identified relaxing, sad mood, isolation, poor satisfaction as central nodes network. NCT revealed no significant male female networks well However, strength values for restlessness tiredness significantly higher than There connectivity psychopathology Problems being isolated others, contribute may be potential intervention targets.

Background The life satisfaction (LS) of individuals among older adults with diabetes should not be neglected. However, current research provides limited insight into the LS in China. Therefore, primary objective this study is to assess status China, delve factors influencing it, and identify key factors. Methods This selected 1,304 patients from Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS) database for analysis. A multivariate logistic regression model was used analyze diabetic patients, a random forest further utilized rank importance significant Results 30.14% were dissatisfied their lives. Multivariate Logistic analysis shows that self-assessed health status, economic depressive symptoms, exercise, living arrangements, hearing impairment, cognitive impairment all significantly affect diabetics. OR values are relatively high, fair poor 5.03 times 9.72 higher risk dissatisfaction compared those good (fair: = 5.03, 95% CI: 3.46–7.31; poor: 9.72, 6.20–15.26). feeling 7.69 than (OR 7.69, 95%CI: 4.25–13.89). results showed order highest lowest impairment. Conclusion Our reveals rate high. it essential implement measures multiple perspectives effective prevention intervention. Among these factors, priority given interventions focusing on support management, as may serve crucial protective enhancing well-being diabetes.

Objective: To explore the functions that physical activity (PA), life satisfaction, and self-efficacy have in process of coping with anxiety among Chinese college students, to mediating role satisfaction this process. Methods: Participants were 358 students (186 males, 172 females, mean age 20.88, SD=±1.80). Psychosocial tests including Physical Activity Rating Scale (PARS-3), College Student Life Satisfaction (CSLSS), General Self-Efficacy (GSES), Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) completed. Correlations between variables calculated using Pearson's test. The mediation model was tested SPSS 26.0 PROCESS macro regression bootstrap. Results: showed a negative correlation (β= -0.1617, p < 0.001), played relationship anxiety, and, more importantly, affected through parallel effects self-efficacy, total effect 55.34%. Conclusion: By increasing students' participation activity, it helps promote growth their which is key reducing promoting mental health.
