This paper examines the effects of mindfulness training on students attending a senior military college in United States. In 4-week pilot study (n = 31) and subsequent in-depth 8-week 66, 18 women), participants were randomly assigned to group (MG) or nutrition control (CG). Each completed 60 min weekly workshop, 20 daily homework for remaining 6 days, brief journal entries about homework, seven assessments at start conclusion study. Background: Young adulthood is a demanding developmental stage, in that individuals are often faced with making major and long-lasting decisions related to career family. This also heightened time of mental health difficulties. There recent evidence cognitive disengagement syndrome (CDS; previously sluggish tempo) may be more prevalent young adults associated poorer functioning. However, the relation between CDS symptoms anxiety, depression, stress, insomnia remains insufficiently investigated among adults.
