Background While the correlation between physical activity (PA) and mental health is well known, mediating mechanism of resilience two variables remains unclear. Objectives To systematically evaluate relationship PA health, explore role them. Methods A systematic search electronic databases (PubMed, Web Science, ProQuest, Ebsco, China Knowledge, Biomedical Database) was conducted to identify relevant studies, meta-analytic procedures were used assess strength relationships health. Furthermore, a structural equation model (MASEM) effects resilience, ensuring reliability our findings. Results The findings 15 studies (17,043 subjects) subjected meta-analysis route analysis. revealed statistically significant positive 0.288 (95% CI, 0.166–0.402) indicators as negative −0.342 −0.171) with results MASEM path analysis indicated that may indirectly impact both through factor resilience. indirect effect values 0.108 0.080–0.141) −0.074 −0.100 −0.051), respectively, accounting for 40.15% total value 28.91%. Background: The emerging paradigm of whole person health shares many core principles with traditional complementary and integrative frameworks, including Tai Chi Qigong (TCQ). Methods: In the fall 2023, Harvard Medical School Osher Center for Integrative Health hosted inaugural international conference on Science & Whole Person Health: Advancing Integration Mind-Body Practices into Contemporary Healthcare at School. A two-part white paper was written to summarize key topics, findings, issues. Results Discussion: Part II presented here summarizes evidence gaps future research opportunities, including: understudied clinical conditions populations, impact long-term TCQ training, understanding specific styles, training regimens, dosage, contextual effects; implementation, cost-effectiveness, medical utilization research; individual data meta-analysis, teaching competencies, credentialing, licensure. I this discusses rationale conference, synthesizes state as rehabilitative preventive tools a range conditions, translational informing therapeutic mechanisms associated training.
