In this perspective paper, we propose to integrate the concepts of Mobility-as-a-Feature (MaaF, an extension MaaS) and 15-minute city (15mC). The 15mC concept maintains that daily necessities services, such as shopping, healthcare, leisure should be accessible without private cars within 15 minute. line with MaaF, these services could integrated a variety mobility options into single app. This novel approach is poised offer seamless customer experience, better resource utilization, enhanced urban mobility, improved more inclusive access greater community connectivity. We call them local super apps: new model drive equitable sustainable transitions. substantiate preliminary idea evidence from literature, practical applications, user survey ( N = 1,019), while also discussing future research avenues further develop apps.

In recent years, there has been a pronounced increase in the frequency of extreme weather events. To comprehensively examine impact on ecosystem services within Wuhan Urban Agglomeration (WUA), this study utilized meteorological station data, Mann-Kendall (MK) test, and Standardized Precipitation-Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) to quantify variation trends heatwaves (HW) droughts from 1961 2020. Then Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Services Trade-offs (InVEST) model was employed evaluate compare differences water yield climate regulation under various HW, droughts, HW-drought combination scenarios. The results show that over past 60 temperature, duration, HW have significantly increased WUA. Specifically, highest total days, frequency, average temperature showed changing trend +0.17 ℃/decade, +1.4 day/decade, +0.19 event/decade, +0.07 respectively. year 2000 identified as mutation for characterized by heightened severity thereafter. SPEI value exhibited an insignificant upward trend, with 1980 marked year, indicating decreasing drought occurrences after 1980. Heatwaves weakening effect both services, while weakened had relatively modest regulation. During composite period, monthly notable discrepancy mm compared humid years. Besides, intensify, area low aggregation expands, whereas high decreases. This provides preliminary understanding urban climatic conditions.

ABSTRACT Unlocking the power of ecosystem services reveals how their integration can drive meaningful economic sustainability and shape future development strategies. This study takes a multifaceted approach to explore relationship between (ES) sustainability, employing rigorous quantitative research design. Data were gathered from 147 business leaders, 111 government officials, 150 environmental researchers using purposive sampling, with subsequent analysis conducted via SPSS software. The results revealed significant positive correlation value ES indicators at both regional national levels. Policy interventions that focus on enhancing valuation found lead improved outcomes long‐term sustainability. Furthermore, stakeholder collaboration emerged as crucial factor in boosting effectiveness management practices. Economic sectors are heavily reliant demonstrated greater resilience adaptability changes compared those limited reliance. Moreover, into decision‐making processes was shown foster more informed sustainable novelty this lies its comprehensive approach, which integrates data analysis, policy evaluation, perspectives, sector‐specific assessments provide holistic understanding complex interplay ecological conservation prosperity. These findings underscore critical role emphasizing importance strategic frameworks for development.

Climate change and rapid urbanization pose significant challenges, necessitating novel approaches to creating sustainable resilient cities. Many studies illustrate that unplanned spontaneous is emerging without sufficient planning, posing grave risks urban infrastructures, including water systems biodiversity. This paper explores strategies for attaining green climate-resilient in Northern Bangladesh by examining the relationship between expansion climate action Rajshahi city. A comprehensive systematic literature review, field observation, city corporation information hub, remote sensing data, geospatial analytic techniques processes were used carry out this study. especially exposed adverse effects of environmental stresses, hazardous, severe heat waves. The investigation discovered several factors, city’s change, growth concrete infrastructure, deforestation, depletion bodies, an increase dry impervious surfaces, a variety commercial activities, exacerbate island effect. authority recently took initiatives help become through Climate-Resilient City Action Plan (CRCAP). Several aspects project’s transformation, development heat-resilient infrastructure extension space alongside roadways, have received domestic international recognition their effectiveness mitigating impact tackling challenges. However, Rajshahi’s complex crisis requires coordinated national local policy agenda active governance strategies. results study can inform environmentally conscious decision-making similar places around world.

ABSTRACT River riparian basins play a crucial role in mitigating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions through carbon sequestration and nitrogen sinks. However, increased ecological stresses led to the release of CO 2 , CH 4 N O. This study aimed investigate how extreme temperatures, water levels, moisture content, land use changes soil composition influence GHG corridor recommend mitigation techniques. It was carried out at Yangtze Riparian zone, China, using column testing. used The results showed that temperatures caused highest CO₂ (29–45%), CH₄ (24–43%) N₂O (27–33%). due accelerated organic carbon/nitrogen decomposition. Conversely, control wet–dry cycles absorbed (1–3%), (3–10%) O (1–21%) by improving aeration, oxygen availability, structure, stable table low temperature change. Grasses areas also improved Highest levels had lowest concentrations level. Adaptive wet‐dry cycles, grass cover better management can restore areas, maintain moisture, balance mitigate climate change quality. Dissolved matter fluorescence (DOMFluor) components are essential for dynamics, aquatic biome safety, nutrient cycling zones. recommends implementing restoration practices, managing afforestation, regulating monitoring tables address Future policies should focus on promoting resilient ecosystems.
