Increasing interest in sustainable beneficial management practices (BMPs) such as those advocated by regenerative agriculture have led to a proliferation of programs encouraging adoption. Mentors including teachers, consultants, and peer farmers can significantly influence adoption decisions. While research climate-smart has highlighted mentor support mentee's learning pathway, little turned the lens mentors examined pathways through which they arrived leaders their fields process. This study Farm Resilience Mentorship Program (FaRM) Canada. In 2022, FaRM recruited 26 across Canada provided training mentorship advanced grazing systems. Through interviews, we explored 12 program mentors' process role networks had pathways. Our findings highlight how diverse social connections motivations learn experience systems inform approaches teaching knowledge exchange. These implications for development enhance engagement improving production farm resilience.

Abstract The effects of environmental degradation and climate change are propelling a discourse shift towards regenerative agriculture, yet understanding motivations for implementing practices on private agricultural lands is still challenge. We study that challenge within the realm ranching, subcategory agriculture. By examining frequency values articulated by respondents, valuation typology stemming from 24 semi-structured interviews with ranchers in Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota revealed. Instrumental valuations dominated studied region connection to ranching practices, although some respondents relational intrinsic tied their practices. While this focuses we posit better interplay between diverse as they relate land management vital promoting more resilient thoughtful ecosystem governance.

Regenerative Agriculture (RA) represents a significant approach toward sustainable and eco-friendly practices, provides environmental, economic, social benefits. The objective of the review is to evaluate research trends gaps, conduct SWOT analysis, explore potential regenerative agriculture in areas like energy conservation, food security, ecosystem services, soil health, circular agriculture, climate-smart, resilient farming practices. This emphasizes holistic Agriculture, analysis reveals that RA offers benefits environmental sustainability several opportunities carbon market security. Despite multiple benefits, bibliometric showed on limited, with notable increase publications only emerging recent years. contributes better practices compared other agricultural systems. efforts mitigate climate change by reducing footprint, enhancing adaptability, improving providing services. It also addresses challenges such as biodiversity loss, waste, Furthermore, integrating presents economic ecological opportunities, credits economy. increases resource efficiency, minimizes promotes nature-based solutions for conservation healthier ecosystems. Based our findings, we recommend should focus developing credit schemes from RA, farmer’s awareness RA's modifying improve economy principles sustainability.
