Abstract This study is a bibliometric analysis of integrated aquaculture research trends from 1990 to 2024. The metadata this was obtained the Scopus database. This study investigated the role of fish in addressing food and nutrition security challenges Southern Africa, focusing on 10 countries including Angola, Zambia, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Eswatini, South Africa. It examined current state security, production, consumption patterns. Additionally, opportunities to enhance production these thereby enhancing security. The findings revealed persistent such as a high prevalence insecurity malnutrition throughout region.
