Rhabdomyolysis is a life-threatening complication and sometimes, though rarely, induced by the use of synthetic cannabinoids. The pathophysiology poorly understood. However, effect through activation G-protein coupled receptors. We discuss case 48-year-old man who was known muscle-invasive bladder cancer received four cycles neoadjuvant chemotherapy. An X-ray showed an interval decrease in urinary wall size pelvic lymph nodes. He underwent radical cystoprostatectomy with node dissection orthotopic new bladder. Postoperatively, patient developed severe back pain, reduced lower limb function, shortness breath. Laboratory investigations revealed elevated creatinine creatine kinase levels decreased urine output. diagnosis rhabdomyolysis made. Accordingly, required continuous renal replacement therapy then shifted to hemodialysis. There are limited data available mentioning cannabinoids development rhabdomyolysis. Our study emphasizes importance understanding effects cannabinoid toxicity as well educating physicians pharmacists establishing better therapeutic protective measures for satisfactory outcomes minimizing risk mortality if left untreated.
