CTNND2 gene is located on the short arm of human chromosome 5 and encodes δ-catenin protein, which interacts with different proteins plays cell functions. Studies have demonstrated that an important role in regulating synaptic maturation neuronal integrity. The closely associated a variety neurological diseases, including Cri-du-Chat syndrome, Autism spectrum disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, Epilepsy. Furthermore, increasing number studies involved various cancers may serve as novel biomarker for diagnosis treatment these diseases. In this review, we will focus signaling regulatory functions its encoded protein neuro-related diseases cancers, discuss limitations previous investigative challenges future researches signaling.

Black wool can effectively prevent sheep from DNA damage as well fungal infection, and improve reproductive performance. In order to explore the candidate genes related black formation in Qira sheep. We selected 123 adult healthy ewes with different coat colors groups (black (B), brown (Y) grey (G)) extracted their venous blood obtain Illumina Ovine SNP 50K chip data. Subsequently, our PCA, NJ-tree, Admixture population structure analyses of 3 color populations showed that middle exhibited same genetic traits. Fst, xp-EHH, iHS, π were detected for selection signals, 5% SNPs loci positively annotated based on SheepOar_v4.0. The region exon 1 TYRP1 gene was further screened, amplified sequenced through associated goodness-of-fit using chi-square test. results 71 traits, among which TYRP1, PARD3 CDH2 strongly production. Three mutations significantly variation inQira (2:81,183,168, 2:81,183,281 2:81,183,284). this paper, could not differentiate by color, obtained wool. Detection mutation sites affecting hair change provides a basis line breed conservation.

This study aims to elucidate the population structure and genetic diversity of Xinjiang brown cattle (XJBC) Chinese Simmental (CSC) while conducting genome-wide selective signatures analyses identify selected genes associated with milk production traits in both breeds. Based on whole-genome resequencing technology, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) 83 80 were detected resolve two populations, elimination analysis was performed for breeds using fixation index (Fst) (θπ ratio), enrichment explore their biological functions further. Both exhibited relatively rich diversity, demonstrating higher than cattle. The IBS G matrix results indicated that most individuals populations farther apart from each other. PCA neighbor-joining tree revealed no hybridization between breeds, but there a certain degree differences among Population optimal number ancestors three when K = 3. resulted clear differentiation only few having one ancestor majority or common ancestors. A combined Fst θπ used screen 112 candidate related SNP markers reveal structure, selection characteristics also screened traits, providing theoretical basis conserving resources improving
