Investigating the spatial distribution and adaptation mechanisms of traditional villages is crucial for their development human well-being. However, relatively few studies have focused on interaction comprehensive influence historical-cultural, natural-geographic socio-economic factors in Jiangnan region. Employing geographically weighted regression (GWR) Geodetector methods, we developed an integrated framework. We found that (1) Traditional exhibit a "one-core, multiple-periphery" clustering pattern (nearest neighbor index <1), with significant high-high low-low local characteristics preferring gentle Complex terrains to adapt need avoid warfare. (2) Urbanization negatively affects village density patterns, while complexity has positive impact. Their nonlinearly amplifies this effect, urbanization-GDP interplay being particularly (q = 0.765). (3) Factors heterogeneity impact density, explanatory power increasing by 20% (GWR/R2 0.65). The urbanization rate slope are most critical factors, respectively (local coefficient: 23.31 11.58). Our study transcends administrative boundaries, revealing how natural-geographical, collectively villages. This not only provides new theoretical foundation conservation but also methodology basis research

The rapid development of rural tourism has placed significant pressure on the environment, and relying solely government market forces is insufficient for effective governance. It urgent to integrate endogenous into environmental social behavior theory offers new insights exploring sustainable approaches resident participation in governance areas. This paper, based Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) theoretical framework from theory, outlines entire process residents transitioning individual stimuli psychological responses ultimately study combines Motivation-Opportunity-Ability (MOA) model analyze stimulus factors affecting local jointly constructs a path mechanism A total 462 valid questionnaires were collected through survey, Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was used empirical testing determine coefficients between variables. On this basis, system dynamics constructed simulate dynamic evolution relationships found following: (1) In tourism, residents’ relies motivational at level play core leading role; opportunity act as catalysts, ability serve auxiliaries; willingness organism plays crucial role. (2) Material pursuit formal institutions are strongest single areas; combinations variables such attachment, knowledge, identity have effects. recommended that future leverage guidance, coordinate interests, adhere collaborative approach ensure environment.

Contracts play a crucial role in the reform of land markets and process farmland transfer. This study examines how spatial distance clan networks impact choice transfer contracts based on micro-level survey data from farmer households China. Our research findings offer valuable insights into as governance tool market provide important implications for policymakers stakeholders. In this study, we reveal that significantly influences selection contracts. When farmers face long distances, they tend to prefer written regulate relationship. preference helps mitigate information asymmetry cooperation risks, ensuring more secure efficient process. Additionally, our show also significant Strong high-density areas often have well-defined social norms codes conduct. As result, these are likely opt contracts, which formalized framework governing transfers. Furthermore, density network acts moderator relationship between contract choice. A dense intensifies influence choice, especially when dealing with distances. suggests community dynamics shaping farmers’ preferences conclusion, highlights importance provides Policymakers stakeholders involved reforms should consider designing policies interventions. By understanding surrounding transfer, can develop effective strategies promote transactions context market-oriented reforms.
