This research delves into the intricate interplay of Technology Adoption (TA), Farmer Training (FT), Market Access (MA), and Crop Yield (CY) within contemporary agribusiness landscape. With global population burgeoning climate change reshaping traditional paradigms, need to enhance agricultural efficiency resilience is paramount. Through a quantitative survey Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS SEM) analysis, study explores relationships among these pivotal factors. The findings underscore significant impact technology adoption, farmer training, market access on crop yield, supported by established theories. diverse respondent demographic, methodological rigor, hypothesis testing further fortify study's credibility. not only contributes academic knowledge but also provides practical insights for policymakers industry stakeholders, fostering harmonious integration key elements sustainability.

The global agricultural paradigm is witnessing a transformative shift with the advent of precision agriculture. While large-scale enterprises have been swift in their embrace this innovation, its uptake among small-scale farmers remains nuanced and complex. This study elucidates multi-faceted determinants that influence adoption agriculture within farming sector. adopts systematic literature review approach, meticulously selecting analysing 29 relevant papers. Drawing upon an exhaustive empirical analyses, research presents composite framework weaving economic, technological, social, environmental factors. Among these, social dynamics emerge as most significant factor, shaped by awareness levels, knowledge dissemination pathways, entrenched cultural norms. These elements often intertwine ingrained traditional practices perceptions, forming intricate layer shaping attitudes. Notably, although economic factors like substantial initial investments calculus Return on Investment are present, they overshadowed considerations. technological landscape characterised challenges digital literacy, infrastructural readiness, interoperability. Lastly, imperatives, underscored resource scarcity, climate change resilience, ecosystem services, offer both motivations. Together, these delineate roadmap guiding journey toward adoption. comprehensive exploration provides stakeholders actionable insights, fostering informed decision-making strategic interventions to augment agriculture's integration tapestry.

This paper investigated the adoption of two key improved postharvest technologies—tarpaulins for drying and hermetic bags storage—among smallholder maize farmers in Rukwa Katavi regions, Tanzania - using comprehensive Diffusion Adoption Model. These technologies were disseminated study area, yet rate remained low. The objectives to: assess extent adoption; analyse motivational factors influencing evaluate how these affect likelihood adoption. A total 365 selected through proportionate stratified sampling during 2021/2022 agricultural season. Data collection involved structured questionnaires quantitative data focus group discussions informant interviews qualitative insights. analysis utilised thematic content bivariate probit regression STATA 17. Findings revealed that male significantly more likely to adopt tarpaulins (Coef = 1.132; p < 0.01), but less -2.668; 0.01). Older -0.146; whereas greater farming experience increased 0.112; 0.05). Smallholder farmers play a crucial role in global agricultural development. The digital transformation of smallholder agriculture can enhance productivity, increase farmers’ income, ensure food security, and promote sustainable rural However, existing studies often fail to analyze the holistic nature this lack systematic review relevant literature. Therefore, study aims provide comprehensive presentation current on through logical synthesis reflective summarization, thereby offering valuable academic insights practical guidance for farming. This constructs an analytical framework centered “government–technology–smallholders” using literature methodology, systematically examining main practices, challenges, future strategies agriculture. Our reveals that practices primarily focus production, e-commerce, information exchange. We identify key challenges at government, technical, levels, including inadequate policies, limited availability applications, difficulties adapting uniform technologies diverse contexts smallholders, insufficient resources endowment among farmers, significant group disparities, constraints imposed by social cultural factors. To agriculture, it is essential improve supply policy resources, attention responsiveness toward needs, refine governance policies. Additionally, we must develop user-friendly applications cater varied needs reduce access costs, literacy, foster inclusive environment development, respect integrate communities. deepens understanding provides theoretical policymakers, technology developers, It contributes development supports revitalization shared prosperity.

The adoption of innovations, such as alternative crop establishment systems, can have significant impacts on farming systems and sustainability. recent increased non-inversion in Ireland allowed for an evaluation technology practices information source use access. Of the 154 arable growers surveyed, 50% practiced plough-based used (min-till, strip-till, direct drill systems). Differences socio-demographics, farm characteristics, innovation preferences, sources, access methods by who operated different were recorded. Direct had higher formal education levels more off-farm employment than other prepared to take risk min-till growers, scenarios. For both major change agronomic decisions, (especially drill) substantially non-Irish sources their top three suggesting need national research these Ireland. Access through in-person interactions print media was preferred most. This study highlights risk, where appropriate is not available, early adopters overly relying non-validated information, potentially leading less sustainable practices.
