The sustainable utilization of biomass-derived bioactives addresses the growing demand for natural health products and supports development goals by reducing reliance on synthetic chemicals in healthcare. Cannabis sativa biomass, particular, has emerged as a valuable resource within this context. This study focuses hydroethanolic extract C. leaves (CSE), which exhibited significant levels phenolic compounds contributing to robust antioxidant activity. Evaluation using potassium ferricyanide, ABTS, DPPH methods revealed potent radical scavenging activity comparable Trolox standard. Biomass residues represent a major issue for industries. On the other hand, enclosed classes of bioactive compounds that could be extracted and used across various fields. This study aimed to elucidate role endogenous microbial community in lignocellulosic degradation hemp biorefineries or industrial processes, simultaneously characterizing composition three extracts recovered at different stages maceration. The process was examined from perspectives: plant tissue dynamics were monitored using histological, cultural-dependent, independent analysis. Opuntia macrorhiza, commonly referred to as red prickly pear, is a type of cactus fruit. The macrorhiza (OM) fruit rich in polyphenols and contains high amount ascorbic acid betalains. peels have demonstrated many biological abilities, including antioxidant, antifungal, antibacterial activities. Ultrasound probe-assisted extraction (UPAE) highly promising method for efficiently extracting valuable molecules from natural sources. objective this study optimize the parameters UPAE, appropriate solvent, liquid-to-solid ratio, duration, pulsation level. aim maximize yield bioactive compounds (polyphenols, betalains, acid) OM fruits (pulps peels) assess their antioxidant activities using Taguchi design. optimal conditions through partial least squares pulp were determined be aqueous 12 min with ratio 60 mL/g 48 pulses/min, while they 20 pulses/min. optimum UPAE compared values obtained under stirring (STE). Overall, exhibited higher yields than STE. total polyphenol content ranged 10.27 13.07 mg gallic equivalents/g dry weight, betalain 974 1099 μg/g weight. these potential new components food medicinal uses due good health effects lack toxicity.

Pyrus communis (P. communis) is the most cultivated and consumed species of pear within European continent. This fruit has been a staple in Greece since ancient times, hence name “Gift Gods”. Given extensive utilization this industrial sector focus on exploitation by-products to create new food beverage products, present research aimed enhance antioxidant activity P. peel through implementation multifactor extraction system. Cannabis sativa, often called hemp, is a medicinal plant belonging to the Cannabaceae family and widely recognized for its therapeutic applications. After industrial supercritical CO2 extraction method, hemp residue biomass was recovered, significant quantity of bioactive compounds identified. In present work, leaf residues were treated two techniques: one conventional stirring (STE) pressurized liquid (PLE).
