Abstract To investigate how and in what amounts biochar methyl jasmonate can improve drought tolerance of barley. A two-year experimental study was conducted a factorial randomized complete block design (n = 5) the research greenhouse Zanjan University, Iran, to possible effects on some traits winter barley under conditions. Two irrigation regimes, D 0 (full soil field capacity as control) 1 (withholding immediately after flowering stage), three spray densities [0 (M ), 50 100 ) μM] four levels [0% (B 0.25% 0.25 0.5% 0.5 1% per weight] were used this experiment. In study, reduced average leaf area (LA) by 96%, stomatal conductance (gs) 84%, photosynthetic water use efficiency (PWUE) 64%. addition, chlorophyll-b 1.5% 81% transpiration rate (Tr) 2.5% 78% first second years, respectively. However, application improved all studied both D0 D1 drought-treated plants. For most parameters studied, optimal combination that optimized alleviated μM, The synergistic action jasmonates stress.

Abstract The complex interactions that exist between soil bacteria and plants have a significant impact on agricultural sustainability. These relationships, which can be pathogenic or symbiotic, are essential to comprehending improving the health productivity of plants. It has not been possible fully understand intricacies these relationships using traditional methodologies. But development multi-omics technologies—genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics—along with next-generation sequencing completely changed our capacity analyze comprehend dynamics microbes. With an emphasis use various omics techniques, this brief overview investigates mechanisms governing microorganisms Researchers create detailed interaction networks identify regulatory pathways by combining data. revelations shed important light interactions, symbiosis, disease occur In end, understanding great deal potential advance sustainable methods guarantee global food security in face environmental difficulties.

Changing climatic conditions are an increasing threat to cotton production worldwide. There is a need develop multiple stress-tolerant germplasms that can adapt wide range of environments. For this purpose, 30 genotypes were evaluated for two years under drought (D), heat (H), and + stresses (DH) field conditions. Results indicated plant height, number bolls, boll weight, seed yield, fiber fineness, strength, length, K+, K+/Na+, relative water contents (RWC), chlorophyll b, carotenoids, total soluble proteins got reduced D H lowest DH, whereas superoxidase dismutase (SOD), H2O2, Na+, GOT%, phenolic contents, ascorbate, flavonoids increased consecutive years. Correlation studies there was positive correlation between most the traits, but negative with H2O2 Na+ ions. PCA clustering analysis MNH-786, KAHKSHAN, CEMB-33, MS-71, FH-142, NIAB-820, CRS-2007, FH-312 consistently performed better than other traits stress Identified be utilized in future breeding program high-yielding, climate change-resilient cotton.
