This research explores the systemic nature of competitiveness within cereal sector European Union (EU) and addresses structural interdependencies among key drivers through a network-based model. The goal this is to offer policy alignment solutions based on empirical findings derived from sparse Gaussian graphical model that was operationalized identify conditional dependencies, synergies, decouplings across five dimensions: factor endowments, self-sufficiency, trade strategy, resource productivity, environmental impact. results showed vulnerabilities, including decoupling endowments strategic specialization, pronounced East–West productivity divide, asymmetry between economic valorization harvested land its impact, reflected in management practices. Research underscore need for synergy-driven strategies coherently align agricultural outcomes with potential each EU country. A critical incongruency has been identified: current prioritization ecological performance under Common Agricultural Policy overlooks essential infrastructural disparities, thereby perpetuating asymmetries Union. In response, study introduces amelioration framework designed reconcile priorities infrastructure development, fostering cohesive resilient throughout sector.

There is a close symbiotic relationship among digital finance, rural and agriculture. The three promote influence each other to jointly drive revitalization agricultural modernization. Using panel data from 30 provinces in China spanning 2015 2021, this paper quantitatively analyzes the dynamic characteristics, spatial patterns, driving mechanisms of agriculture, their relationships through coupling coordination degree model (CCDM) geographically temporally weighted regression (GTWR). study shows that between finance dominated by coordinate quasi relationship. evolution indices diversified, with emergence variety patterns such as continuously declining, fluctuating upward, relatively stable, L-shaped, inverted U-shaped, W-shaped, V-shaped, tilted Z-shaped, M-shaped, its changes exhibit significant variability, agglomeration correlation. mechanism complicated, nature intensity factors are regional time-varying. Except for fiscal self-sufficiency rate, which plays long-term positive promotion role, most exert mixed effects (both promoting negative inhibitory). For reason, it recommended government should change trend management, balancing weak strong interventions. And also accelerate transformation development policies toward policies, scientifically delineate geographical zones, establish alliances, enable leading regions demonstrate exemplary value, while helping assisting those underdeveloped quickly achieve breakthrough areas distinctive advantages. In addition, design digitalization policy portfolio according mechanism, focusing on synergistic key factors.

The information perceived by producers plays a crucial role in the efficient management of agricultural production chain, encompassing both fertilization and marketing processes final product. ability farmers to make effective use this depends on their behavior, technologies, adoption up-to-date technical knowledge. However, small Ecuadorian face gaps that limit access commercial knowledge, which affects productivity profitability. This study analyzed informational competencies banana provinces Guayas Los Ríos, with objective identifying causes these impact marketing. A structured survey was applied producers, evaluating five dimensions information. In addition, soil analyses were conducted 20 plantations determine correspondence between practices nutritional requirements. results showed presented more robust competencies, greater recognition needs active reliable sources. reflected aligned standards, where average values 1.21 cmol(+)/L aluminum, 8.67 magnesium, 0.87 potassium, largely complying standards for cultivation. contrast, growers Ríos spent less time searching evidenced deficiencies nutrition. highlights importance strengthening knowledge transfer improving communication systems as tools close gaps. It is recommended implement inclusive public policies training programs technologies sustainable practices. promoting creation collaborative platforms can optimize markets, facilitating direct produce.

In recent years, several policies and strategies have been developed by the European Union to promote innovation digitalization in agricultural forestry sector, including Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), which allocates just under EUR 150 billion for period of 2023–2027. Italy, sector has grown significantly over past decade, with 3.8% increasing 15.8% farms now being computerized. This growth fostered Italian strategy agriculture, part CAP Strategic Plan, implemented at regional level through Rural Development Complements (RDCs), adopted 2023. study analyzes RDCs regions, comparing terms from both technical economic perspectives. analysis focuses on interventions three support groups (SRGs)—SRG07, SRG08, SRG09—assessing whether they activated all regions delves into political reasons behind any lack implementation. The compares funding allocated each intervention, highlighting differences underlying causes. main strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats were prioritized an A’WOT analysis. major strengths include provision job security sustainability, while weaknesses comprise challenges digital divide a training. opportunities identified potential development precision agriculture eco-sustainable practices, but these are hampered critical issues such as spatial fragmentation limited resources. analytical framework offers comprehensive view dynamics providing useful insights more effective that can equitable innovative sector.

With the new challenges and crises facing agriculture, digitalization green transformation have become important ways to solve problems. This paper uses an international economics perspective chart a path for sustainable agricultural development. Specifically, it analyzes whether two-way direct investment (FDI) can facilitate digital-green fusion(DGF)? Using sample of 31 provinces (autonomous regions) from 2012 2021, this study finds: (1) Two-way FDI significantly contribute agriculture’s DGF. (2) In mechanism test, is proved that promote DGF level by promoting technology innovation capacity overall regional capacity. (3) The positive effects are prominent in eastern central regions, coastal economically developed areas. (4) spatial Durbin model, local growth improves surrounding areas certain extent. government advised prioritize openness, foster environment technological innovation, leverage radiation DGF, advance digitally empowered modernization.
