Abstract
This
study
investigates
the
adoption
of
Saguna
Rice
Technology
(SRT)
by
27
farmers
across
Maharashtra,
India.
research
highlights
challenges
and
potential
benefits
SRT,
with
a
focus
on
technical,
economic,
institutional
factors
influencing
adoption.
Utilizing
purposive
snowball
sampling,
data
were
collected
through
five-minute
telephone
interviews
face-to-face
discussions.
Thematic
analysis
using
NVivo
software
revealed
that
while
SRT
offers
economic
such
as
30–40%
reduction
in
production
costs
improved
soil
fertility,
weed
management
need
for
specialized
equipment
hinder
widespread
