No-tillage (NT) has been widely recognized for significantly enhancing crop yield and nitrogen (N) use efficiency in dryland agricultural systems globally. However, irrigated fields, NT demonstrated adverse effects on wheat yield, limited information is available regarding its impact N uptake efficiencies, grain protein characteristics. Previous studies concluded that drip fertigation (DF) achieved superior gain over the conventional fertilizer broadcasting with flood irrigation (BF) under compared to rotary tillage (RT) intensive (PRT; first plowing followed by tillage). This study measured tissue concentration, content composition, dough processing quality traits, activities of metabolism enzymes flag leaves developing grains.
