Phytonutrients are plant foods that contain many natural bioactive compounds, called phytochemicals, which show specific biological activities. These phytonutrients and their phytochemicals may play an important role in health care maintaining normal organism functions (as preventives) fighting against diseases therapeutics). Phytonutrients’ components the primary metabolites (i.e., proteins, carbohydrates, lipids) or secondary phenolics, alkaloids, organosulfides, terpenes). For years, several have demonstrated pharmacological therapeutic effects human such as anticancer, antioxidant, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, immune response. This review summarizes of most studied popular turmeric, garlic, cinnamon, graviola, oregano) any reported contraindications. article also presents calculated physicochemical properties main selected using Lipinski’s, Veber’s, Ghose’s rules. Based on our revisions for this article, all these consistently shown great potential preventives therapeutics vitro, vivo, clinical studies.

Abstract This experiment was designed to investigate the impact of curcumin‐olive oil nanocomposite (CONC) supplementation on uteroplacental hemodynamics and ultrasonographic measurements as well maternal oxidative status in midgestating goats. Twelve synchronized pregnant goats (85.58 ± 1.08 days gestation; mean SD) were uniformly assigned two groups ( n = 6/group); first group received daily oral CONC (3 mg/kg body weight; nanocurcumin [NC] group) for 32 days, second offered physiological saline (control) following NC timeline. This study evaluated the effects of a botanical supplement (a formulated proprietary blend turmeric, capsicum, and black pepper oleoresin in fat carrier; PHYT), fed pre- post-calving, on colostrum milk yield quality, passive transfer immunity, performance cow–calf pairs. Twenty-three (BW = 532 ± 9.13 kg; age 36 mo) crossbred Angus cows were randomly assigned to three treatment groups: (1) not supplemented (CON, n 7); (2) with 250 mg/head/day (PHYT250, 8); or (3) 500 (PHYT500, 8) supplement. The individually from 30 days (±6 days) pre-calving 60 post-calving. Colostrum was collected d 0 (pre-suckling), 1, 2, 3 total all quarters 45 90 post-calving at weaning. volumes recorded, samples analyzed for percentages fat, protein, urea nitrogen, other solids, lactose. concentrations IgG, IgA, IgM, IgG concentration using radial immunodiffusion. Blood dams calves, serum (cows calves) IgA (calves). Abstract Schistosomiasis is a serious parasitic infection affecting millions worldwide. This study aimed to explore the anti-schistosomal activity of curcumin and loaded gold-nanoparticles (Cur-GNPs) with or without praziquantel (PZQ). We used six groups C57BL/6 mice in which five were infected Schistosoma Mansoni (S. mansoni) cercariae exhibited, separately, different treatment regimens curcumin, nanoparticle, PZQ, addition one untreated group acts as control. Mice sacrificed at 8th week where both worms eggs counted hepatic porto-mesenteric vessels liver intestine, respectively, histopathological examination granuloma. Curcumin caused significant reduction egg count (45.45%) 3rd week. A schistosomicidal effect PZQ was found all groups. Cur-GNPs combined 97.4% worm burden highest intestinal content, well, besides 70.1% granuloma size. The results suggested combination strong regimen against S. mansoni it alters hematological, biochemical, immunological changes induced.
