Abstract This short overview explores the relationship between oxidative stress and mental disorders, focusing on association with psychiatric pathologies such as Alzheimer’s disease, schizophrenia, autism, depression, impact of sleep deprivation. The mechanisms mitochondrial disfunction in these are described, including physiological function limited free radicals signal transduction, gene transcription, neuronal plasticity memory. Key radicals, hydroxyl superoxide highlighted, along compounds generating radicals. Moreover, potential therapeutic implications dietary supplements (zinc, selenium, magnesium, vitamin C, E, CoQ 10 ) lifestyle interventions antioxidant properties presented, laying groundwork for future research field health.

Grounding, a therapeutic technique involving direct contact with the earth, has been proposed by various studies to potentially have beneficial effects on pressure, sleep quality, stress, inflammation, and mood. However, scientific evidence supporting its sedative remains incomplete. This study examined effectiveness of an earthing mat quality investigated underlying neural mechanisms using electroencephalography (EEG) analysis in rodents, focusing orexin superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels brain. Rats were randomly assigned four groups: naïve normal group (Nor), exposed for 7 days (A-7D), 21 (A-21D), electronic blanket (EM). EEG results revealed that A-21D exhibited significantly reduced wake time increased rapid eye movement (REM), non-rapid (NREM), total compared Nor (p < 0.05). Moreover, demonstrated significant increase NREM 0.001), REM 0.01), along decrease EM 0.001). The level was lower while SOD1 expression markedly elevated These suggest may represent promising new method promoting could serve as effective technique.

Background: Stress is a state of imbalance homeostatic environment caused by psychological, environmental, or physiologic stressor. common risk factor that involved in the etiopathogenesis diverse disorders. Moreover, stress hormones have an immediate negative impact on glycemic management. Purpose Study: The aim our study to investigate glucometabolic potentialof Cellgevity® under conditions male Sprague-Dawley rats. We employed cold restraint effectively induce physically and psychologically stressed condition. Methods: Twenty-four (24) rats (207±20g) were divided into four groups at random: No Placebo (NSP), no cellgevity (NSCG), placebo (STP), cell (STCG). (immobilization) was performed 2hr daily morning using cylindrical cage (8:00 h± 10:00 h.), for 2 hr afternoon (16:00 18:00 h). enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay used assess circulating insulin corticosterone levels. glucose tolerance test (GTT) (ITT), as well expression G6PDH, alpha-amylase, alpha-glucosidase enzymes evaluated metabolism. Biochemical parameters such Lipid profile, liver enzymes, oxidative also determined. Results: STP had increased levels, elevated resistance, dyslipidemia, damage. Furthermore, improved levels but effect tolerance. However, mitigates stress-induced damage causing reduction modulating serum markers metabolic indices. Keywords:Cold-restraint Stress, Glucose Tolerance, Insulin Sensitivity, Corticosterone, stress.
