As processed meat products, sausages have been criticized for their short shelf life. In this study, the impact of purslane ( Portulaca oleracea L.) and chicory Cichorium intybus leaf extracts on physicochemical microbiological quality indices, chemical parameters, antioxidant properties goat (GMSs) was evaluated. The added enhanced storage stability improved overall acceptability all treated GMS samples, meanwhile reducing total volatile nitrogen (TVN) values over cold period (4°C/40 days) compared to control samples. Using plant at 0.2% BHT 0.02% w / ) led concentration‐dependent decreases in thiobarbituric acid–reactive substance (TBARS) microbial count GMSs stored 4°C 40 days. combination treatment (MPO + MCI) had highest antimicrobial activity. Chicory are promising natural, safe, inexpensive additives producing high‐quality sausages, application can be extended other products.

This study aimed to establish the preparation process of peptide–calcium chelates (TMP-Ca) using skipjack tuna meat and investigate function mechanism TMP-Ca in an osteoporosis model rats. The results indicated that trypsin is more suitable for preparing Ca-chelating hydrolysates meat, optimal hydrolysis conditions were derived as follows: digestion time 4 h, material–liquid ratio 1:10, enzyme dose 3%. chelating Ca with hydrolysate optimized be chelation 50 min, temperature °C, pH 8.0, a peptide–Ca 1:10. prepared was subjected ultrafiltration, fraction (TMP) (MW <1 kDa) showed highest rate (51.27 ± 1.42%) made into (TMP-Ca). In osteoporotic rats, significantly improved decrease ovarian indexes caused by retinoic acid. It also elevated serum Ca, phosphorus, bone turnover indexes, increased number trabeculae, microstructure. addition, we confirmed could regulate OPG/TRAF6 pathway reduce osteoclast differentiation, inhibit resorption, promote formation. Therefore, ameliorate osteoporosis, this provides functional component healthcare products treat osteoporosis.

Castration of adult male rats led to the development osteoporosis. Oxidative stress and inflammatory factors have been identified as potential causative factors. Notably, oxymatrine (OMT) possesses potent anti-inflammatory antioxidant activities. This study aims elucidate antiosteoporotic effects OMT compared testosterone in an orchiectomized (ORX) rat model A total 60 Wistar were divided into following groups: control (CTRL), surgery + no orchiectomy (SHAM), ORX, ORX testosterone, OMT. Urinary deoxypyridinoline (DPD), calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), well serum parathormone (PTH), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), osteocalcin, N-telopeptide type I collagen (NTX I), tartrate resistance acid (TRAP), Ca P levels evaluated. Bone was assessed for malondialdehyde (MDA), reduced glutathione (GSH), interleukin 6 (IL-6), Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1), nuclear factor erythroid 2-related 2 (Nrf2), heme oxygenase (HO-1) expression, receptor activator κB ligand/ osteoprotegerin (RANKL/OPG) ratio. dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan histological immunohistochemical studies performed. Testosterone or treatment ameliorated bone mineral density (BMD) content (BMC) DEXA changes PTH levels. Compared group, formation, turnover markers also significantly reversed groups. Treatment with MDA, IL-6, Keap1, RANKL, RANKL/OPG ratio, elevated GSH, Nrf2, HO-1. Moreover, has restored cortical thickness osteocyte number TNF-α rats. Consequently, either exhibited nearly equal therapeutic efficacy; however, neither them could normalize measured parameters. showed efficacy ameliorating osteoporosis rats, possibly by improving some oxidative

ABSTRACT Luteolin (LUT) has been suggested as an inhibitor of osteoporosis (OP). This investigation examines the pivotal role miR‐125b‐5p/SIRT3/AMPK/mTOR pathway in mediating luteolin‐induced effects on OP. Mesenchymal stem cells derived from bone marrow (BMSCs) were exposed to dexamethasone (DEX) create vitro model Following treatment with luteolin, levels miR‐125b‐5p and SIRT3 quantified using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction. Moreover, SIRT3, AMPK, mTOR protein levels, osteogenesis (OPN, Runx2, OSX, OCN), autophagy (p62, ATG5, LC3, BECN1) evaluated ELISA. Additionally, specific mimics siRNA constructed overexpress or downregulate SIRT3. Furthermore, animal models DEX‐induced OP assess LUT at doses 50 100 mg/kg/day histology, stereology, biochemistry, expression miR‐125b‐5p, SIRT3/AMPK/mTOR axis, markers autophagy. The findings revealed that suppressed expression, overexpressed downregulated BMSCs compared DEX ( p ‐value < 0.01). Interestingly, restored for 0.001). overexpression downregulation inhibited therapeutic properties. In animals, improved histology 0.05) while overexpressing AMPK RUNX2, OPN, OCN improved, was enhanced LUT‐treated rats. current could promote improve via activation through pathway.

This study formulates zein nano coop composites containing chimeric antioxidants (ascorbic acid, luteolin, resveratrol, and coenzyme Q) (AZN) evaluates its application regeneration using osteoblasts a Zebrafish osteoporosis model. In vitro experiments with human osteoblast-like MG63 cells showed enhancement mineralization regeneration. It further exhibited high biocompatibility larvae, increased calcium/phosphorus deposition upregulation osteogenic genes. The has unequivocally demonstrated potential AZN fracture healing both normal models, underscoring significance this research. Further investigations higher animal models warranted expand on these findings. impact research seems far-reaching, possible development new, effective, safe options for osteoporosis, addressing limitations currently available treatments.
