In this study, the Kellgren and Lawrence system was used as most common radiographic grading for diagnosis of osteoarthritis in patients defined Grade III IV. It is aimed to reveal oxidative stress cellular immunity status. context, aim discuss possible risk parameters regarding disease process treatment effectiveness. Twenty-five 25 healthy individuals were included study. Total antioxidant, total stress, thiol-disulfide balance values determined spectrophotometrically blood samples taken from study groups. Neopterin levels by HPLC method. our antioxidant status (TAS) found be lower control group than patient (p=0.000). There no statistically significant difference between groups oxidant (TOS) (p=0.815). The index (OSI) value evaluated based on TAS TOS did not show a statistical (p=0.065). native thiol significantly But, disulfide neopterin higher (p=0.001 p=0.000). According findings current study; observed that with disrupted favor free radicals, result, decreases due inflammation process. these change direct proportion staging disease, especially stage III-IV knee osteoarthritis.

Impaired bone healing is a significant complication observed in individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), leading to prolonged recovery, increased risk of complications, impaired quality life, and patient morbidity. Oxidative stress, resulting from an imbalance between the generation reactive oxygen species (ROS) cellular/tissue antioxidant defence mechanisms, has been identified as critical contributor pathogenesis T2DM. Antioxidants have shown promise mitigating oxidative stress promoting repair, particularly non-enzymic entities. This comprehensive narrative review aims explore underlying mechanisms intricate relationship T2DM, specific focus on current preclinical clinical evidence advocating potential therapeutic interventions improving outcomes From ever-emerging available, it apparent that exogenously supplemented antioxidants, especially can ameliorate detrimental effects inflammation, cellular function processes during uncontrolled hyperglycaemia; therefore, hold considerable novel efficacious However, despite such conclusions, several important gaps our knowledge remain be addressed, including studies involving more sophisticated enzymic antioxidant-based delivery systems, further mechanistic into how these antioxidants exert their desirable reparative effects; extensive trial optimisation therapy dosing, frequency, duration subsequent biodistribution bioavailability. By enhancing understanding crucial issues, we fully exploit stress-neutralising properties develop effective mitigate reduce associated complications T2DM populations.

Adipose stem cell-derived exosomes (ADSC-EXO) have been demonstrated to promote osteogenic differentiation of bone marrow cells (BMSCs) and facilitate regeneration. The present study aims investigate the effect ADSC-EXO-loaded nano-hydroxyapatite/chitosan/poly-lactide-co-glycolide (nHA/CS/PLGA) scaffolds on maxillofacial regeneration using tissue engineering. ADSC-EXO was isolated co-cultured with BMSCs, BMSCs assessed through detection mineralized nodule formation, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity, mRNA expression COL1A1 runt-related transcription factor 2 (RUNX2). nHA/CS/PLGA were fabricated loaded these engineering complexes applied defect region rabbits elucidate their effect. markedly enhanced when they ADSC-EXO.
